Mazda to unveil next MX-5 Miata sports car

When I first went to the dealership and was met with 2 different Michaels. They were both really courteous and nice. The test drive of Mazda 3 was great and I really liked the car and the experience. An email from their sales manager stated that they would beat any legitimate offer by 200 dollars. I was followed up with an email and a phone call on the same night. They were both fine, and I set up an appointment with the same sales person on the next day. I took the train up to Wakefield (1.5 hour trip), and called the dealership for a lift at a gas station due to the heavy rain at a gas 3 minutes away from the dealership by car. I wasn't picked up for another 40 minutes due to a series of miscommunication on their part. Even the gas station attendant (who was really nice) took pity on me and wondered why they didn't come. It was the beginning of my bad experience. Once I get to the dealership, the car I wanted was already sold but they still advertised it online as available. The 2 Michaels whom I worked with were not there. (why even set up an appointment if you can't make it?) They tried to sell me a similar car with more fluff (remote starter and fog lamps.) (1000 dollars more on MSRP). I was okay with it as long as they would honor the commitment that they would match other dealerships' offers. No. That didn't happen. The general manager pulled an "I'm in the business for 30 years so I know about car deals" type of stuff. He was condescending in tone. I did not come here to be lectured on how I want to spend my money. Basically, they cannot match Quirk Mazda's discount, let alone beating it. Their offer is 800 dollars higher than Quirk's offer. I understand that every dealership has its bottom line, but an 800 dollar differential on a 25k car is too much a percentage. Certainly, he doesn't have to sell anything at a price he doesn't like. but please don't advertise he would beat other dealer's offer by 200 dollars. The following is the email as part of their advertisement. "LIBERTY MAZDA PRICE ASSURANCE I certainly understand your need to “shop” the deal on your new car. I can also respect the fact that you need to speak with several other dealerships in order to comfortably move forward. You have our assurance that we will better any legitimate offer that you find at any other dealership, on the vehicle you have selected, by $200.00. We will not lose your business over price." I understand it's a tough business. But I feel that I was mislead by their advertisement and I trusted them that's why I wanted them to have my business. Otherwise, I would have just bought my car at Quirk and be happy with it.

I had the BEST experience ever buying a car. Brandon Melendez was my salesperson and he was amazing. When I got there I was a little apprehensive but I knew that I wanted to learn more about the CX5. Brandon explained every single detail about the car and then we test drove it. I didn't close the deal the same day but I returned the next day with a friend and I asked him if we could take it for another ride. Brandon was again very helpful and polite and explained every single detail to my friend. I was impressed with his customer service skills. I LOVE the car by the way. When I was discussing prices, I had the opportunity to meet Chris Gannet, the sales manager and he worked his best so I could have a great deal. I left Mazda Liberty feeling great. I have a brand new car (CX5) and I got the best customer experience ever. Highly recommend Mazda Liberty !

I have never been treated so rudely. Me and my fiancé went there to both look at 2 different mazda types for each of us. After my fiance test drove the first one and the salesman Mike had spent about 15 minutes of his time with us I asked to test drive the cx-5 and was told flat out NO. He said he can't just test drive a bunch of cars with us, he is trying to make a living. I asked if there was another salesman that could help us and he said no everyone was busy and just walked away. He did not even say any of this to us in a polite way and I would of understood his frustration a bit more if he had spent a lot of time with us and we kept test driving cars but we came in telling him we both wanted to look at these cars and had only drove 1 car! The worse salesman ever to tell 2 People interested in cars to go away! I may go buy a mazda but will certainly never go back here!

We recently purchased a car at Liberty Mazda and were very pleased with the entire experience. The sales staff was attentive and responsive from the moment we walked in to test drive the vehicle. The salesman did not pressure us when we went to look at other makes and models, and was willing to work around our complicated schedules over the course of a few weeks. The final negotiation process was straightforward and remarkably painless. Kudos to the entire team.

The first time I visited and test drove the Mazda3 with Mike F. was fine, we were treated nicely. However coming back a 2nd time when I was more serious about buying was a completely different experience, it was like night and day. I was given a higher price then when I was there previously and there was no attempt to negotiate, we were shut down after a couple minutes and my friend's father was cut off when trying to ask questions. He may have been persistent but isn't that their business, to be able to deal with all types of customers? It stopped me from buying and my brother who was considering the car and dealership as well. I guess it was meant to be if I wasn't in their price range but what a waste of time coming back was.

Have had a great car buying experience with Mike Favalora. Quick and easy, picked up my car the next day after purchase inspected and registered. Very convenient.
