Watch out. I had worked with these folks before to buy a 2013 Mazda 3. I paid a few thousand below sticker. I have been negotiating on a 2015 Mazda 6 touring (manual) and I got the price down to 20,500. I was excited that this was a great deal. The paperwork comes out with the car price at 21000, with 500 deducted for Mazda loyalty--exactly as expected. Then we get to financing and I am informed that I agreed to finance through chase at whatever interest rate they determined. When i said i did not want to do this, they told me the price would increase by two grand. This came out of the blue and when i emailed the sales rep, he explained that i needed to go through Mazda financing. Another change in the story. Thankfully, I brought people with me both days to avow my account of things. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE--they use bait and switches, they will pressure you, and they will run you around and around. I'm going to Wellesley for this car. Liberty is officially on my sh*t list.

I had an awesome experience at Liberty Mazda due to the excellent customer service provided by Chuck Marinaccio. He was professional, knowledgeable and responded to my emails quickly which helped move the process along. He was also extremely understanding when I brought family and a friend to help negotiate. I was also in on Saturday morning at 7:00 am for my inspection sticker and was impressed by the service. I love my Mazda 3!

I know when I read reviews, I tend to filter out the extremely bad or extremely positive reviews because I assume hyperbole/exaggeration. So I write this fully expecting that many of you will not take it all that seriously, but I assure you, this is a thing that actually happened. My husband and I bought a 2013 Maxda CX 5 from Liberty Mazda in March of 2013. We LOVED the car, and had a great sales experience. Fast forward to July of 2014, with 24k miles on the car, when we notice shaking when braking at higher speeds, along with a vibration when braking at slow speeds. We took the car to Liberty for service. They called us that afternoon to inform us that all 4 brakes were bad. Now, replacing front brake pads at 24k miles seemed a little soon, but not outrageous. The rear, however, seemed absurd. Both of our other cars had gone to well over 60k miles, if not more, before any work needed to be done on the rear brakes. We got a second opinion on it, and were told that it was absolutely "crazy" for rear brakes to be in that kind of shape in a well cared for car with so few miles. We googled, and found dozens of identical complaints - premature brake failure on the Mazda CX 5 due to rusted calipers. So simply replacing the brake pads would have led us to be in the same position next year, as there was obviously a problem with the calipers. Even though our car was still under full warranty, Mazda told us that "normal wear and tear" was not covered. The best part was, one of their service techs ADMITTED to us that he had seen this problem a lot, but that we'd need to contact Mazda corporate to address paying for the needed repairs. When Mazda Corporate called Liberty Mazda to discuss the situation, the service manager denied that he told us that. Awesome. Both Liberty Mazda and Mazda Corportate basically told us "sucks for you that our brakes failed, now give us $700, because this must be your fault" I made one last attempt to resolve this situation by calling their service department again and asking if a compromise could be reached, I said that we'd be satisfied if we paid for the front brakes and they did the rear brakes for free. I was again referred to Mazda corporate, and then hung up on. I thought "is this real life?" Yes, Yes it was. After this completely absurd experience, and finding out that the brakes on the car we bought to be a safe, dependable family vehicle could fail without warning, we traded it in for a Subaru and walked away from it. The kicker is, we were literally weeks away from replacing my older Toyota (86k and still on the original rear brakes, by the way) with a Mazda 2. Liberty Mazda lost $16,000 in a new car sale, plus whatever we would have spent on service on the CX5 for the next few years over refusing to take care of a brake issue that would have cost them under a thousand dollars. The ridiculous experience at Liberty Mazda aside, we will never own another Mazda, and would very seriously warn anyone against the CX5.

Avoid this place at all costs. My wife brought her Mazda 3 in to have the AC fixed at the end of last summer and was told the compressor needed to be replaced and would be $1,100. I thought this was high but it needed to be done so we trusted them to do it. At the beginning of the next summer, wouldn't you know it, the AC was out again. I bring it back and they want me to sign something that says I'll pay $200 just to have them look at it. I refuse so they look at it anyway. They come back and say that there is a leak in one of the lines and now the condenser needs to be replaced. Cost would be another $1,300 after maybe 1 month of use from the previous summer. I was furious and brought it to another mechanic who had worked on my Nissan and I trusted. He told me there were no leaks, but the condenser did need to be replaced but would only cost around $400. He also told me that the compressor, which liberty had claimed they replaced, was junk and there was no way it was new. So not only did Liberty Mazda try to charge me for work that didn't need to be done, I'm pretty sure they charged me $1,100 for work they never did. These guys are crooks and I recommend you stay away.

Just bought my first brand new car from Liberty Mazda and had the best experience. Could not have asked for anything better. Our salesman was Rob and he was fantastic. Highly recommend seeing him if you are interested in a Mazda. Not a pushy salesman like you experience at the other dealerships and very friendly and personable. The sale was quick and easy. No annoying back and forth. We got a great deal and I love my new Mazda CX-9! Thanks Rob!

We recently purchased a car at Liberty Mazda and were very pleased with the entire experience. The sales staff was attentive and responsive from the moment we walked in to test drive the vehicle. The salesman did not pressure us when we went to look at other makes and models, and was willing to work around our complicated schedules over the course of a few weeks. The final negotiation process was straightforward and remarkably painless. Kudos to the entire team.
