To quote Billy Graham (if that's ok with everybody), "The best Bible is the one you read."

Why do my Baptist friends worry about the "Catholic" bible my other friends have? I never knew there was a difference. King James version is King James, right?

A story like this makes me feel ashamed of having ever given up because something was "too hard to do."

Google cast? Is that the same thing as Chromecast? I have a Chromecast device (is dongle the right term for it?), and it works fine with my Chromebook HP 14. Also works with my iPad.

Ok Chromebook community. I just got a Chromebook HP 14 and was a little disappointed to find a couldn't use google cast on it. Anyone else have this experience?

If you have any interest at all in the quality of math education that our children are getting in the U.S., you should watch this video. You do NOT hear about these issues in the media. There's a lot of good news here, and there's a lot of information that must may make you pretty unhappy. Spare me the political posturing. Watch the video, and then go get involved in your local schools. If you continue to let the politicians run things, we will continue to have compliance-driven education. Maybe you shouldn't be so content with that.
This month’s column is short, but I am asking you to set aside 51 minutes and 36 seconds to watch the embedded video. It is a recording of the Iris M. Carl Equity Address given on Friday April 19 at this year’s NCTM Annual Co...

Giugno nel Nord: May be one of the best 3:27 of your day. Shot entirely on an iPhone 4s with an olloclip wide angle lens.

Jay, if you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, get an olloclip wide angle and the time lapse apps he used (he names them in the comments) if you're thinking about doing something similar.

Devices are no substitute for a regular exercise routine. If you run/walk 5 miles a day, why do you need a device that will count your steps?

As the technology and market for wearable devices develop, we think consumers will start to care more about accuracy.

If the device would periodically shout, "Get up and move!", followed by a painful but non-lethal shock if significant  and sustained movement did not take place within a set amount of time (say, 5 minutes), it might be worth it. But I'd still rather just take the dog out for a walk/run before and after work.
