The catalog shows a series of different data visualizations, all made with R and ggplot2. Click on any of the plots and you get the R code necessary to generate the data and produce the plot. You can use the panel on the left to filter by plot type, graphical elements, or...

Looking for Help  -

Dear co-members, this is a cry for help.
Have any of you ever stumbled upon (or authored themselves) a description or a POC of "assortment optimization problem"? All Google finds for me is either marketing presentations or scientific articles with some heavy math.

I'd love to have something basic to start with. Please help.

+Bill Venables Classification  tree forest gives : OOB =8.69%. Of 5581 instances there are 484 "Bought cheese =Yes" and ALL of them get misclassified. Importances (accuracy decrease and Gini decrease) state opposite truths. I am at loss here. The only conclusion there's to be drawn seems to be  that my customer attributes are bad predictors.

Inledning En annan välkänd tillämpning av datamining-metoder hos företag i handelssektorn är cluster analysis på kunddata. De flesta företag som på ett eller annat sätt särskiljer sina kunder (näthandel, postkatalog, ...) ha...
