A 68-unit, 5.5-storey hotel is proposed for the vacant block in between The Nomad restaurant and the Okanagan College Revelstoke campus. However, the applicants will need to get a variance from the City of Revelstoke to build to the proposed 26 metres because the current bylaw limits building heights at the location to 10.5 metres. City council will discuss the matter at their Feb. 23 meeting. http://ow.ly/YxGhS
