The danger that unbalanced, high volume sites are faced with is one of survival: users have options. There may be dozens of other sites that cater to the same audience and that can handle the traffic. Your users will not hesitate to take their page views elsewhere. - http://usabilitygeek.com/using-load-balancing-large-volume…/ ‪#‎UX‬ ‪#‎UserExperience‬
Load balancing improves usability by distributing server loads across multiple servers, thus increasing the speed with which sites are served to end users.

Any assumptions that you make about your customers can be invalid, and the best way to find out is by performing usability testing. Pair a scenario with a persona after the design is implemented, and see if you have addressed it properly. - ‪#‎UX‬ ‪#‎UserExperience‬
A user persona is a powerful UX research tool. It should be created from goal-driven user data generated from surveys and user interviews.

As designers, we owe ourselves the opportunity to fall in love with these problems and mould a response into something better for ourselves, family and friends, neighbors, and community. We must be more human-centered, not simply follow a human-centered methodology. It’s time we leverage more of our skill for an even higher purpose: solving the world’s most pressing social challenges. - http://usabilitygeek.com/responsibility-in-design/ ‪#‎UX‬ ‪#‎UserExperience‬ ‪#‎UXPoland‬ UX Poland
Responsibility for a designer means that that designer should remember that their work is their reputation. They should care about their users’ experience.
