These ecofriendly journals are manufactured in Sri Lanka, a country where elephants and humans have long competed over scarce land resources resulting in injury on both sides. The paper is made from 75% elephant dung and recycled paper, no trees are cut down to make the paper and the production of the paper directly contributes to the villagers' income thereby linking it to the survival of the elephants.

Striking cushion covers that would look brilliant in a contemporary setting. The cushion covers depict Keringke Indigenous Arts designs. The front is decorated with applique embroidery and the back is plain red with a zip fastening. An eye-catching scatter cushion to brighten up any room.

This stunning cushion cover is the result of the Indigenous Cross Cultural projects which act to bridge the economic, creative and cultural gap between Australian indigenous communities and global communities through arts and crafts.
The cross-cultural projects are an indigenous exchange between cultures whereby the artists provide their original designs to craftsmen in other regions of the world for their dream-time stories to be reproduced in various mediums that are not locally available.
