DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT

If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 star review I would. This place is a complete joke. These guys ripped me off for a CompuStar CS700-A, that they listed at $225 but sold it to me for $165, including installation.I found the exact same alarm system for $34.51 at Sears and $46.00 at Walmart!! They didn't wire up the keyless entry in order to try and get me to spend an extra $100 for a CANBUS module that I didn't need. I spoke directly to the manufacturer of the alarm and they told me that my car didn't require a module for keyless entry. The installer left pieces of plastic and wire clippings all over the seats and floor of my truck.

I contacted West Coast Car Audio again and spoke with Carlos who quickly told me he'd have John, "the installer" call me back. I waited a day and called back. Carlos gave me a story about how they were tied up in vendor training all day and that's why I didn't get a call back. A few hours later John from West Coast calls me back and begins to tell me how he was the one who worked on my car and that it needed the module the Carlos showed me. I told him that the manufacturer said that was not the case and that we could call them to verify. I also told John that IDatalink doesn't make a door lock/unlock module for my car. He replied "The module that Carlos showed you was just a module he pulled from behind the counter, that's not the one we were going to use in your car" I asked why would he allow me to take a picture of it if it was the wrong one?

I hung up because these people are full of it, with no real customer service skills at all. I contacted a reputable shop in Modesto, who is an authorized CompuStar retailer, and they told me they couldn't find any documentation that says my car needs anything outside of what already comes in the box with the CompuStar alarm. They said they'd only charge me $45 to wire the alarm correctly. I'm going to report this to the Better Business Bureau without a doubt.

Alhamdulilah, i stopped by while visiting from Northern California. The people there were so polite and helpful. The brother even took care of the alterations to my garments right there on the spot. I recommend Al Anwar to all of my muslim brothers and sisters. I will definitely visit them again, InshaAllah.
