So I have to say it is the only dealership I have not received any service at all. My wife and I came to this place because we had three specific cars we wanted to see that were listed on their website. We walked through the whole lot and the dealership twice without anyone even talking to us. I'm mean we saw no salesperson or costumer service people anywhere. It was like a ghost town. We were there on a Saturday around 12:30. We were there almost an hour. After seeing no one was there, we left and went Ryan Honda instead to browse. There we got great service from Tom Crowe, who helped us look around and find a great car for us.

We had a tremendous experience at Ryan Chevrolet. Bryan, our salesman, was very easy to work with. He was thorough and efficient and very friendly. Lauren, who handled the financing, was cheerful and genuine. As a general rule I dislike the car purchasing process and don't care for car salespeople, but every person we interacted with at Ryan Chevrolet was outstanding. There is clearly a positive, customer-focused culture at this company. We're already talking with them about making a second purchase. A big thanks to everybody there!

I have had generally unpleasant service here, but since I own a Chevy I often end up having to come back here. I have had multiple instances leave a bad taste in my mouth. The worst was when the technician here told me I needed new disk brakes: expensive parts and labor (500$). I knew it was bull, so I took it to a service center near Arrowhead which is way more trustworthy. They fixed the problem by simply smoothing out the disk and adding a new pad: 70 bucks. That's not the only thing: once I had a oil change and asked them to check everything over. A technician noticed a frayed throttle cable but didn't bother to mention it. I found out later when I brought the car back for repairs after the gas pedal stuck to the floor at 85 and wouldn't release. In addition, I and my coworker have been met with a general lack of professionalism. From unordered parts to bad communication resulting in "fixes" I didn't want, to overcharging for parts and labor, I have had an all around bad time with this place. The only reason I go back is because it's walking distance from my house, so when you have only one vehicle and very little money to blow you don't have much option. There are far better places to have work done in Minot: I'd love to see this place improve its standards and lower its prices so I'd have an auto repair place I could trust close by.

My husband and I had just moved up to North Dakota and needed to trade in my Mazda 3 for something that was better suited for the climate. After working with a couple dealerships and not having much luck we found Ryans Chevrolet. We originally wanted to look at 3 different trucks but were only able to see one of them, which I ended up liking a lot and ultimately purchased. The salesman was great to work with and very easy to get a hold of, he even made special arrangements for me to sign the final paper work and pick up the truck (I was very impressed) HOWEVER.... shortly after signing, things quickly changed. Our salesman was nearly impossible to get a hold of. I was promised to have a couple items from my vehicle mailed to me, somehow they were mailed to a wrong address and ended up lost. Our salesman offered to replace them but although inexpensive were more memorabilia than anything so I let it go. We moved soon after and needed our plates to be forwarded to our new address, this ended up being another mess. When we finally received the plates they were not ours, we had to send them back and wait. (The titling clerk was also difficult to get a hold of, on a couple occasions I called early in the morning and left a message, got no response and had to call again the next day every few hours until she answered) she ended up being helpful and got us replacment plates but that was after waiting another week to see if our plates, which had been mailed out to I assume our old address would be returned. when that didn't happen she begrudgingly accepted my request to get replacement plates as we had no more time to wait since our deadline to register the vehicle in our current state was approaching.

Brought my 2014 GMC pickup in due to a "grinding" noise. Wheel bearing needed replacement. Ryan recommended tire rotation and alignment as well, which I agreed to. Took 4 days to complete and left without the grinding but a noticeable shake had developed. Contacted Ryan about the shake and they recommended tire balance which seemed probable. I did not have the balance done there as they would need the vehicle a minimum of 5 hours to complete the task. Had the balance done elsewhere each wheel was off one once where the ounce was placed there was adhesive already on all four wheels. Did a one ounce weight mysteriously fall off each of my four wheels? Doubtful. Someone removed the weights between the time I dropped it off and the time I picked it up. Also $800 dollars in repairs and not a test drive to ensure the work was done properly. Would expect more.

This dealership helped me find exactly what I wanted and within my price range. My experience with Trevor was like no other at any dealership. Additionally, thank you to Ryan Chevrolet for sponsoring my kicks hockey team and proving Jerseys for the kids. That shows immense support for their community and in the programs offered for the children in the Minot area.

charged me $400+ for diagnostics. Didn't even fix my problem. Just told me what it "might" be.

I had a appointment to have my brake fluid flushed and 4 wheel alignment done. That was fine but I also had scheduled a oil change that I had a coupon for (which I brought to the coustomer rep at his request) that included a tire rotation and 27 point inspection for just under $40. Well I got the receipt and they had the tire rotation as a separate charge from the oil change. I did not dispute it. That may be my fault for not disputing it but I will not go there again because of the way they are dealing with there customers. Edit, Ryan Chevy has contacted me based on this review and after review my case they found that it was a error and are reimbursing me the extra money. There costomer service is excellent. I never thought that this review would every be seen.
