I've used Prism for three home inspections and would highly recommend. They're thorough and detailed in their reporting, have a straightforward, intuitive website portal, provide the report next day, and are accommodating schedule-wise. Without their insight/attention to detail, I wouldn't have known about major electrical and other hidden repairs needed. I appreciated having the information to make an informed decision whether to proceed. As someone who's paid for three inspections now (ouch), I'd still choose to work with Prism. Thanks Rick Simon, Jeff Lomax, and team.

The owner of this company conducted the inspection himself. One main concern was expressed as the reason for the home inspection and was answered incorrectly. This is going to cost thousands to fix. Be very careful in where you spend money on home inspections. There are other companies in this area.

I've used Prism Home Inspections for over a year and have been consistently happy with their performance and attention to detail. Each inspection is thorough and whichever inspector is present provides the buyer (or seller) with a walk through and explanation of the process along with a binder stuffed full of handy information, and on request you can have a termite inspection scheduled with them and get everything knocked out in one appointment - the value is absolutely worth the price (which is VERY reasonable). They also offer to home sellers a "pre-listing" inspection in an attempt to mitigate any surprises and as a result any future negotiations post-offer acceptance. This makes everybody's job easier. I actually did this myself and got an offer on my home before it even listed, and the buyers asked for what they wanted done up front. This is about as close as it gets to selling a home retail-style with no complications. You cannot go wrong with using Prism!

Rick and his crew were GREAT! I got the Inspection Report back the same day as the Inspection—-which was HUGE because our due diligence was days away!! He had no problem going over all the items with me and answering all my questions in a way that helped me understand exactly what was going on. Such a relief to have an expert relate back what I needed to know in a way I understood it -- really can't say enough about how timely, professional, and kind they were!

This home inspection company really let us down. We were very concerned about whether the plumbing system in the house we were planning to purchase was under the slab or run through the attic. The neighborhood in which we wanted to purchase has been plagued with slab leaks. The inspector assured us that the plumbing for the house was in the attic. We discovered otherwise 4 months later when the bedroom carpet and hall flooring became soaked with water. Now, we are faced with replumbing the house to put the pipes in the attic like we thought was done in the first place. This will cost us over $4,000 to do, and we would have used it as a negotiating point with the seller had we known this beforehand. We could have taken care of this problem before we moved into the house, had we been given the correct information. As it is, we will have plumbers in the house tearing sheetrock off the walls and going in and out for 2 weeks or more.

Elise was wonderful to speak to when I called with a ton of questions. =) And Rick, was great too! He made sure I was with him walking around the home and understood what he was saying, which for me, that was GREAT because I did know some of the things he was talking about. Even after the inspection was over, he still gave extra information to help me out. I highly recommend Prism!!!!!!!

Dolly was awesome! Every question (and some I did not know to ask) were answered. She is a pleasure to work with and when we purchase our next house I know who to call!

My realtor recommended Prism Inspections (Rick Simon) and, to my pleasant surprise, an appointment was scheduled immediately for the upcoming weekend (yes, Rick agreed to work on a beautiful Sunday morning)! When I arrived at the scheduled time, Rick was already busy inspecting the property. He answered all my questions, took time to explain every issue or concern in "laymans" terms. The inspection was thorough and before the end of that very same day, I had a 40-page detailed inspection report including photos. Wow! And all for a most reasonable cost (less than I expected). Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and cost friendly. Who could ask for anything more?
