Hey Folks — The Hallmark Channel is or — since I can’t seem to find a 2012 hint of it — WAS having a Funny Sign Contest, and this one is their poster boy. LOVE it. – L

Ok this is an awesome comparison of different tools.   I really like some of the vector art ones :)
While algorithms for turning raster images into vector images are nothing new, the usual suspects perform terribly when it comes to sprite-sized pixel-art type images where each pixel matters a lot. Enter this cool project that Johannes Kopf and Dani Lischinski presented at Siggraph 2011. Their paper, which nicely explains the nitty gritty, is freely available (PDF), and there’s also an online gallery where you can see how their method stacks up ...

Amazing. This is Clockwork, my fifth major K’nex ball machine, and my largest and most complex K’nex structure to date. It took 8 months to build, has over 40,000 pieces, over 450 feet of track, 21 different paths, 8 motors, 5 lifts, and a one-of-a-kind computer-controlled crane, as well as two computer-controlled illuminated K’nex balls. Isn't this the truth. Cancer overtakes everything.

As a cancer survivor myself, I can attest that it does take over everything. When one doesn't have insurance to continue with the screenings, its really scary too.
unfortunately the Republicans have decided that insurance is only for the rich and by hook or crook they are going to keep it that way. So I guess my only alternative is to make the republicans happy is to die since I don't have and can't get medical care.
