Best in the city! I've been to Crossroad Cafe many times and have introduced many friends to this hidden gem. I've always had a pleasant experience. Even when I thought things weren't going to go well when my lunch left unattended was ravaged by birds (yes, you'll need to watch out for that), the staff inside were more than accommodating and served me a new sandwich at no charge. It just goes to show that they provide a great product by great people. I love the book store portion and inside cafe, but my favorite part is the outdoor tables with a serene fountain and grass area.

4.5 stars, but only because there's no Wi-Fi. One of the best cafe's in the city in my opinion. Lots of space indoors and outdoors. On a sunny day, grab a seat outside in their courtyard area. They have such a variety of menu items: coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, tapas, shakes, pressed juices, afternoon/high tea. They have fantastic smoothies (you can actually taste the fruit, and not the sherbet flavor and consistency you get from Jamba Juice ones). And to top it all off, prices are pretty much half of what you'd pay at any Starbucks or Peet's.

One of my favorite cafes in SF. Lots of seating, outdoor patio area and a great place to meet people. Food and drinks are great. Main drawback is no Wi-Fi. Also Crossroads is part of the Delancey Street Foundation, which is a great organization to support.

Great place to hang out all day, work on your computer, read books, sit in their zen like garden and also enjoy their fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, sandwiches, quiches and decadent cakes!!

Extensive menu at affordable prices. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Mushroom, cheese and spinach crepe is delicious!

Heard about this neat cafe from a fellow co-worker and I'm glad she told me. Not only is it convenient for lunch or breakfast, but it's affordable as well (about $3.50 total for a freshly made egg-bacon-cheese bagel sandwich). Those details aside, the true beauty behind this cafe is its backdrop. If you don't know why it's called "crossroads" cafe, look it up. You'll feel good about supporting them..
