[Insurance Warning] Recently I've had 2 of my coaching clients faced with the dilemma of wanting to claim for illness (1 for a stroke and another for gall bladder) on their sickness & accident insurance only to be told they only have accident insurance and aren't covered for time off from work for illness related work absence.

RED HOT TIP: Check your policy wording yourself NOW to ensure you have the right cover and don't rely on what you think you have.

This is what Qld National Parks & Wildlife Service have done at Eli Creek, Fraser Island.

They wanted to redirect the creek to do other work - however what they have done is leave a dangerous drop and then directed traffic through the surf to get through.

The end result is 1 vehicle stranded in the water being pulled out by an excavator.

Come on, how about some common sense here guys.

Here's my 91 year old dad ready to start the Anzac day March (in style) in Hervey Bay this year.

Better still, there were 3 generations with him - me and my 2 sons Brendan & Ashley.
