The never-ending redesign has ended, I think - I would like to say, “you’re welcome!” to any of you who may have been checking out the site regularly over the last month or so. I redesigned it. And then I couldn’t stop. It was blue, then red, then purple. I couldn’t get it just right. You got quite a show. I think I’ve achieved lift-off now though. I’m so confident in the new design that I’m blogging about it so that’s something. I don’t think I’ll be changing it for some time. I’m aiming f...

Consistency and Me - Consistency. That was the word I was searching for last week when I wrote my post. This little blog of mine lacks consistency. It’s partly because I change the design so often, and it’s partly because I have things of higher priority in my life. And, honestly, it’s partly because I didn’t know what I wanted or what would work best. I’ve grown SO MUCH since I started this business back in 2009. I’ve been contemplating this all week and it finally cam... http://ow.ly/30EBWh

Project: Blogger design | Gathering Inkspiration - Amy already had a logo but wanted a new blog design to help her logo sing. She wanted something clean and simple with a touch of whimsy. The designs she linked me to were very plain and subtle so I came up with the following look. I still really love this one (which is why I’m showing you, I normally keep drafts hidden) but Amy didn’t connect with it. After seeing it she realized she wanted pops of bold color and maybe ... http://ow.ly/2YgTn9

News: New Baby + New Year = New Update - With the arrival of my daughter, my life changed forever and for the better. She is almost 6 weeks old now and I am still absolutely LOVING her to pieces. I love being her mother. She brings a special shiny joy to my world. Dreams do come true. Happily ever afters are real. All that wonder-filled, whimsical magic. I have to show her off and what better way to do that than to place her photo front and center on my website?! Inspir... http://ow.ly/2Uhlqp

Project: Typepad blog design | I Love Papercrafts - If you follow my personal blog you’ll know that baby is getting close to her arrival date! We’ve done tons of shopping and prepping and I’m feeling ready. I’m not sure how soon I can start working again after she gets here, but I’ll figure it out and let you know. This project is probably going to be one my last for at least a couple months. Maggie, my favorite and best client, wanted a re-design on one of her blogs. I... http://ow.ly/2RXrvO

Project: WordPress.org blog design | Tiffany’s Cardtique - Tiffany is a papercrafter and blogger. She came to us wanting an updated design for her Blogger blog. She knew she wanted earthtones and/or muted colors (nothing bright). She wanted pink, bows and lace and a bit of vintage. She wanted the overall feel to be friendly, fun, soft, artistic, and inspirational. Tiffany’s Cardtique | Blogger blog design Take a look at the results above. An update for Lauren - Lauren is one of my tops. She is a fantastic lady! She has been a loyal repeat customer for years (since 2012). She comes straight to me when she needs something web/graphic design related and I’m happy to do it for her if I can. Our emails are open and honest (if she doesn’t like something she’ll tell me – I love that). We can talk to each other about personal things without it being weird. She gets me. Her latest update was DRASTIC!! I mean, a c... http://ow.ly/30YICT

Because of blogging, I write. - I wanted to be a writer when I was in middle school filling notebook after notebook with stories. I loved putting my head down, ignoring my classmates and the ‘real world’ around me, and focusing on a goal of my very own. I wanted it so badly and I enjoyed it immensely but I had to come to terms with the truth. The truth was, I wasn’t very good at it. I quickly ran out of ideas, as well as ways to say “and then”, so after only two years o... http://ow.ly/30ivGV

Personal: I’m still here - It’s been awhile since I posted. I’m still here, I’m still breathing, I’m still working. Just don’t have any 100% completed projects to show you yet. But they are coming. I’ve mostly been doing hourly work – updates, additions, things of that sort. Those aren’t exciting enough to show you. What is exciting, though not really related to my little business here, is my little baby. She is 3 1/2 months old now and as cute as ever. I love that her ... http://ow.ly/2XrMzl

Personal: Meet Madeline - About 2 1/2 weeks ago I gave birth to an adorable baby girl. She is completely precious in every way and I love her to the moon and back!!! So far the transition to parenthood has been pretty smooth. I don’t get much sleep at night but I have more free time during the day than I thought I would so I’m going to get back to working right away and see how it goes. I am now officially a work from home mother and I think I’m going to like it. :) http://ow.ly/2Ttvhn

DreamUp Studios is a personalized web and graphic design company geared towards women. Logos, stationary, business cards, web and blog designs are some of the many services we provide.
Introduction
Our goal is to create designs that our clients absolutely adore; designs that speak to them and whisper/shout their names.

We are a bit different than many companies, as, for us, it’s all about our clients. Every project we undertake is executed with a unique design perspective – that of the client. We ignore our own personal taste and really listen. It’s the needs, goals, dreams and big ideas of our clients that motivate and inspire us. We don’t do consulting work nor do we make suggestions. We simply give our clients what they ask for.

Have a dream design in mind? Let us help you bring it to life; we would love the opportunity to work with you!
