It was a great experience buying car from Deland Toyota, they are very accommodating and honest. I bought a 2010 Prius and the car is working good w/ no problem. Thanks to Derek Jenkins for picking me up from Orlando airport and the quick processing of documents. Also thanks to Alex Darnell. From Mike/North Carolina Department of Public Safety.

This dealer really screwed things up for me. I traded in my Mini Cooper for a used FJ Cruiser, and they "approved me" for $435/month at 3% interest with only $500 down. I was happy with the deal they offered so I said yes, then over a week later they call me back in with a lie on the telephone about needing to sign additional paperwork to lure me back into the dealer. Then once I'm in there, they claim that they made a mistake and I was actually approved for $550/month at 6% interest!!! They said I could keep my current interest rate and monthly payment if I could magically come up with several thousand dollars on the spot to put down! What options did I have at that point? I was screwed. I already had the FJ and put several hundred miles on it, plus they had already taken my Mini Cooper... AND then they proceeded to delay paying off my Mini until after the valid payoff date on the quote they received, so now I have to come up with the difference in the increased payoff amount because of their slow effortless actions. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They clearly have no idea what they are doing. The finance guy in the back made me feel like "I didn't know what I was talking about" most of the time too. Just terrible service and handling of the entire situation.

My Husband and I were looking for a truck and, were test driving each brand to see witch one we liked the best. We test drove the Tundra we loved it and would have bought it, We asked the sales man for the best price, and that we would go home and think about it,and let them know the next day. The first offer was ridiculously high, and When we told him that the dog and pony show started. I have never been mugged before, but I think I know what it feels like now. The sales manager and some other guy kept asking us how much would we pay, and that if they gave us there best price that we would go somewhere else and some one would beat it. Too that I responded than that must not be your best price. We finely got a number from them, but wound never do business with this dealership

Made an appointment with their service center about my mothers Scion, had asked if they would honor the first free oil change (my mother passed away a month ago) when I arrived they did not have an appointment for me and then would not honor the free oil change. They were willing to lose a customer than to honor the service . I would recommend not to waste tour time at this facility.

Can't really speak for the car salespeople as I only talked with the service department. Checked on a used vehicle I was looking to purchase that was serviced at the dealership for a recall. Department was extremely helpful with information and very courteous as well as displaying a good sense of confidentiality for the current owner. Couldn't ask for more.

I took my car to this dealership yesterday for an oil change and to get my brakes worked on. While I was there they recommended that, among other things, I get a transmission pan gasket service ($250) because my car was slowly leaking transmission fluid. I declined the service. Instead, this morning I took my car to a different shop that had recently changed my transmission fluid. The manager took me under the car and showed me that the pan was totally dry and said that he had been hearing about dealers unnecessarily recommending that service to try to make more money. Annoyed but relieved I went about my day. This evening while driving on the highway the front end of my vehicle started to vibrate when changing lanes and progressively worsened to a violent vibration. I quickly got off on an exit and found that on my right front tire, 5 of my 6 lug nuts were just a few turns from completely coming off my wheel. The Toyota worker had almost completely forgotten to tighten the lug nuts after repairing my brakes! I am thankful the one lug nut was still holding it on, but overall extremely disappointed in my experience with Deland Toyota. Beware!
