We just got in the first copies of The HDR Book - 2nd Edition today. I'm really excited for being able to do this update! Focus more on new techniques. Take Photoshop CC's new features and really add to the process of making #HDR #photography images.

Is it me, or has anyone noticed how slow G+ has been recently? But its more than that. I also don't see as many familiar faces as i used too. Die hards that joined and were very active from around 2 years ago.. barely touch base here anymore.. opting to post more actively on Facebook and other platforms? Other friends deleted accounts for a variety of reasons. And then recently i was sad to learn that a core G+ photography theme #MacroMonday is closing it's page with its original curators 'retiring. 'What does it mean?
I started noticing people leaving and the change just over a year ago when communities were introduced and more changes were made to the SUL. Is it the communities? Has it changed how G+ photographers engage and relate on here potentially for the worse? (I.e, people are here we just don't see them or their work as much anymore since they are being posted in communities) Is it the SUL that people are tired of --with a baffling select group of photographers getting the lion's share of engagement and interaction on here based on cronyism? Is it all the changes G+ has made to the look and feel and more importantly the notification systems as well has the 'recommended' algorithms? Are our posts just not reaching each other the way they used to and/or is G+ is simply not 'showing' us more work of those in our circles? In G+'s quest to personalize, have they inadvertendly created exclusion? Or is G+ too glitchy now..with commenting problems and technical issues sharing etc? Or is it something else entirely that i'm missing?
I know i'm not the only one wondering this as others have mentioned it to me and others have left or are all but gone? I would love to hear other peoples opinions on this or any answers people might have!
(p.s and then i'm laughing as i don't even know if anyone is going to see this to reply?) :)

I did a pre-conference workshop at #Photoshop World in Atlanta last week. It still comes to an amazing surprise to photographers and designers that you can actually use Photoshop to produce short #Video work and slideshows. It's not trying to be Premiere - but you can actually do some cool stuff with it.
To put it to the test, we went through some sample footage I took of when we were out at Jade Mountain with - It came out pretty decent for last minute!
