Just one reason I know Linux is getting better and better, so much so that it's now impossible for any other company to have as much experience as we do working on the kernel right now.
What other kernel has USB developers who have been doing this for 15+ years? Networking for 20+, VFS for 20+, and so on. Yes, being young is great and that brings a lot of good things, but don't count us "grey beards" out just yet.
Although one could argue that the fact that a bunch of us are still doing the same thing after 15+ years means that we aren't all that smart to begin with, I'll kindly just ignore that.
