Funny view of the future. Hollywood (read "us") has some strange ideas.

School out earlier due to earthquake. Waiting to see about tomorrow. Fortunately the house seems fine.

Makes me want to work at Apple (as if that workplace didn't already sound cool enough).
Techcrunch story on Apple's new headquarters: These conceptual drawings will soon be a reality. Here's a video of Steve Jobs proposing the building before the city council: where Steve describes getting his first job as a teenager by cold calling Bill Hewlett of Hewlett-Packard. Apple bought the land from HP, some land Steve saw Bill Hewlett buy as a teenager.

From the Techcrunch story, "the project will be built on a 175 acre area ... The total building will be approximately 2.8 million square feet, will feature a 1,000 seat auditorium ... a fitness center, 300,000 square feet of research facilities, a power plant, and underground parking."

Now that Apple's taken the circle idea, what's Google going to do for new offices? :-)

Looks like Logan's Run for 2015! (Btw, please comment on post, please do not leave comments on an individual photos don't want to create spam for everyone.)

If you want your own circle for the backyard, the architect is Norman Foster & Partners.

And here's an article from the San Jose Mercury News with local architect's saying the idea sucks:
