Weather map as mentor text for meaningful annotations: A CDWP colleague's husband used the weather map from January 27th as a mentor text to illustrate the feelings of area teachers as week woke up to the "Blizzard of 2015" which did drop historic amounts of snow to the east, but after a forecast that had our location slated for 9-13 inches of snow, we woke up to NOT ONE FLAKE of snow. Ed Pollack labeled our area "False Hope and Lost Dreams". So very accurate.
