Do you use Google Chrome? Do you have a Google+ Account? Then download the extension by +Chris Simari , Everything Went Black at: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jgmiebnbonaoadomjpcllgigbenhbeff?hl=en-US#

1. Sticky or floating header bar (fully supports current notifications)
2. Adds a (seemingly overlooked) "Scroll to Top" button to the right side of the header.
3. Swaps Google+ logo with a black variant.

Hi +Mark Levy, looking through the chrome web store it seems that every G+ extension can access "Your data on plus.google.com". I understand your concern… should you choose to check out the extension, I'm only targeting the HTML when a user is on G+. There is no active background page (click the wrench > 'View Background Pages (x)'). This extension is not communicating with any other site outside of the Google atmosphere, it is linked to an Analytics account but this number was added via publishing the extension in the Chrome Store.

Firefox's app tab is a good idea, but shouldn't the tab stay pinned if you close out a reopen?

You Can Ask for Anything, Anytime at Allerton House Assisted Living in Quincy, MA – Now that’s Peace of Mind! Angelo (Red) and Geraldine (Gerrie) DiGravio are quick to say that living at Allerton House at Hancock Park in Quincy, they “don’t have to worry about a thing.” The couple was encouraged by their three children, who live in Norwell, Hull and Rhode Island, to make the move to Allerton House when they began to require assistance due to health issues. Red says, “Anything we need, we just press a button and someone is right here to see what we need and do whatever they can for us.” Red and Gerrie first met when he was in fifth grade and she was in fourth. Their paths crossed over the years—at school, at church and at Sunday school. Now married for 65 years, Red jokes, “Her parents were none too thrilled with me. His dad worked with mine at the Quincy Shipyard and used to tell him to keep me away from his daughter.” Red pursued a Navy career during World War II, but decided that military life was too difficult for a young family. He joined the Quincy Fire Department, working with the alarm systems for all eight stations until his retirement 20 years later. The DiGravios take great pride and joy in their three children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Red says, “We have plenty of room to entertain and a kitchen to make snacks. It makes it nice.” He also is impressed with the wonderful, accommodating staff, citing an example of a time when he needed medical attention and the Allerton House nurse drove him to the hospital herself. “She’s always ‘Johnny-on-the-spot,” he says. As another example, he notes, “We can go down for meals, but if we’re not feeling well, they’ll bring them up for us. You can ask for anything, anytime here at Allerton House.”

Ruth Cunningham has lived in Hingham for close to 50 years, most recently in her beautiful and inviting assisted living apartment-home at Allerton House at Harbor Park. Although she notes that there is nothing like living where you have raised a family and created happy memories, she also acknowledges that the business of running a home can become challenging. She sold her home and bought a condominium, which lessened some of the burdens of home ownership, but did not quite meet all of her needs. She says, “When I first came to Allerton House, I decided after a few months that I wanted to try living on my own one more time. There are a lot of reasons why I decided to come back to stay.” Those reasons include the conveniences of enjoying delicious, home-cooked meals every day without having to do the cooking; a readily available washer/dryer, and even a laundry service, when she previously had to navigate the basement steps on laundry day; the opportunity to participate in any number of on-site activities; and the just as appealing option of spending quiet time on her own or in the company of other residents. Ruth says, “I walk two times a day with my walking buddy, Evelyn. I also enjoy sitting on the porch with the other residents and just watching the clouds go by.” Ruth has one son, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She says, “My son lives in Las Vegas. It is wonderful visiting with them, but I did not want to move out there. My friends are here.” In fact, Ruth says everyone at Allerton House is friendly, that there is always someone there for her, and that she never needs for a thing. She especially enjoys the trips that are available to Allerton House residents, which have included a trip to the Cape Cod Canal and to Isaac’s Restaurant on the historic Plymouth waterfront. She says, “Any time the bus goes, I am on it!”
