A little teaser from my upcoming novel "The Indigo Prince of Temple Moor". Can't wait to share this with you all when it is done with editing and out in print!

A lonely Prince searching desperately for love, denied his rightful place on the throne because of one deadly secret now threatening to be exposed.

A strangely enchanting woman wrestles with the demons of her past, her body brutally beaten, her soul broken and scarred by the abuse she endured under the malevolent reign of a King gone mad.

A chance meeting, evoked by the fervent pleas of the Ancient Ones of Olde, would soon lead Asher and Annestasia to discover where their fates may have intertwined in the lives they were intended to live before they were placed upon this realm.

Journey through a labyrinth of secret passages found within this kingdom, each choice made shifting and spiraling their future through one of the mystical portals to other dimensions.

This week Ivory had many men wanting to #kiss her. One actually did. Can you guess who?

He ran a thumb across my cheek. Leaning in, he pressed his lips against mine. I tasted the sweetness on them. My hand snaked to his hair that I had been wanting to touch. I kissed him back. He deepened our kiss, flashing his tongue inside my mouth. I returned the gesture. His hands slipped to my back as he gently placed me down on the ground. Lying on a bed of roses couldn’t compare. These flowers were much better. His body pressed over mine.

You'll have to read #SuperiorSpecies to find out who.

Ivory Ames has caught the attention of four gorgeous guys. At Los Roshano University this isn’t normal, even when all the upperclassmen have perfect physiques, flawless complexions, and hypnotic looks. That’s not even the weirdest part. The town has a strict sunset curfew because of wild animals attacking.

To keep her friends and herself safe, Ivory must figure out the truth behind the town’s mysteries before it’s too late. #romance

Stories that will take your breath away...

Teens facing hard choices...

The discovery that life intrudes at the worst moments...

Teens face many issues in this often unforgiving world. The choices they make often decide where their life ends up. Choices are often gauged by the support they receive from the world around them, or their own values, which can be tested by their peers reactions.

The twenty-first century has given teens many things that seem to spell doom to their dreams and hopes. School violence, abusive friends, alcohol and drugs, and bad decisions leave them wondering if it’s worth the effort to stand up for what they think is right.

S.O.W. & R.E.A.P. (Author Young’s travels in France)

Over the years, I’ve been asked, “Why do you love Paris so much?” My reply is the same – S.O.W.

Even-though the Parisian cityscape have changed over the years, these three words continue to shadow my existence whenever I’m in or out of Paris. S.O.W. is also the reason Walter and I choose France as our future home.

I contracted the romance bug in the autumn of 1966 when the ‘Simorgh’ (my patriarch’s private jet) touched down Charles de Gaulle airport. A young teenager with a quest for adventure, I was whisked to the Paris Ritz Carlton in a shiny black Bentley. I had already fallen head-over-heels in awe and in-love with my host, our accompanying Arabian entourage, including my chaperone-cum-Valet-cum-lover, Andy; and of course, with Paris. That was before we even hit the private haute couture showings at Chanel, Dior, Ungaro, Givenchy, YSL and Patou. Not to mention Café de Flore, La Belle Époque, Maxim’s, and by no means least, Le Folies Bergers – places to see and being seen.

In the following years, I had accompanied many princes, princesses, sheiks, sheikas, together with their aristocratic Arabian harems, to this City of Seduction (S) and Originality (O). It was this French capital that taught me wit (W). Some say, wittiness is a congenital trait. I say, it is a learned art of human relationships.

Whatever it is, I had returned to the City of S.O.W.; where I had sown many a wild oat. Now, with my beloved ‘hubby’ in tow, I’m here to R.E.A.P. its rewards.

You may ask, “What the hell is R.E.A.P.?”

Whereby I will explain:

R – Romance was, still is and continues to exist in this alluring Capital of Love; amidst an influx of foreign refugees (a different story I’ll relate another day 😊).

E – Elegance: Walter and I find irresistibly seductive within this sordid City of High Culture.

A – Authenticity, the Paris of Romance; NOT the Paris in Las Vegas, Nevada 😊).

P – Paris: Sophistication, Originality, Wit, Romance, Elegance, Authenticity and finally, my jeu d'esprit where PERFECTION reigns supreme – PARIS – Mon Paree 😊!

This and other vignettes are documented in A Harem Boy’s Saga; a memoir by Young (moi – aka Bernard Foong) - (a 5 – 7 book autobiographical series):

Protocols? We don't need no stinking protocols!

Several hours later, just before sunset, Gareth motioned for the wagon train to stop. A few of the wagon drivers hollered up at Gareth, asking why they were stopping in such a vulnerable spot. Gareth galloped back to talk to the drivers face to face rather than yell back as to why.

“We have to stop here. The Golem Dwarves reside in these lands and they do not like trespassers!” Gareth said.

“Aren’t you the king?” Mackenzie asked innocently.

“Oh no child, I’m am the king of the centaurs and no one else! Thank you for saying that though!” Gareth replied laughing.

“She has a point though Gareth, don’t you have some say?” Richard asked.

“Oh aye, I do indeed! I still have to follow protocol though. Whenever you cross another’s boundary, you have to wait the appropriate amount of time and someone will come to you and decide if you are worthy to travel through their lands or not,”Gareth explained.

The main attraction was the library, which was built centuries ago, and had been cunningly designed by said council of witches. The library itself was built in the early 1800s. It stood over three stories tall, and housed close to sixty-seven-thousand square feet of ornately designed pillars and monstrous, solid, oak bookcases. Its outer structure comprised of rugged brick walls, edging beautifully illuminated stained glass windows. It was an
enormous undertaking, to build something that massive back in that day and age, but the architects constructing the blueprints to this unique building were unafraid, and worked dauntlessly, until the task was completed.

The library had once been a place where the locals would gather to pour over novels and fictional narrations of life, and of love, out of the thousands of books housed inside its massive doors. It was intended to be a place to expand the imaginations of knowledge seekers, a home for dreamers, and a sanctuary for those entertaining the notion of becoming writers. Hundreds in the community would rush to see what new material they could get their hands on.

Eventually, it would become a gathering place for businessmen to hold their quarterly meetings, and for schoolteachers to tutor those students they did not want to see get left behind by society. The library thrived with the support of the community, and eventually they were able to expand, adding additional meeting rooms.

There was one room, however, hidden high above, in the top recesses of the attic, where meetings were held in secret. These covert meetings were ones that no one spoke of, at least not out loud. One could often hear hushed words, and whispered secrets, furtively requesting access to the private room, but no one dared asked what was being uttered. These sessions were normally held after the library was closed to the public, and under a shroud of complete darkness, with only the moonlight pouring in through the prismatic windows, and maybe a solitary candle’s flame used to illuminate the room.

Explore the library and the secrets found within!

Searching for the one road into Los Roshano was hard. #Read to find out why there is one road into the town. What happens if there was an evacuation?
