Lake Atitlán is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Located in the western highlands of Guatemala the lake is surrounded by spectacular dormant volcanoes and pincturesque Mayan villages. A cruise everyone will be sure to love! #TravelDeep
Although more than 20 million people chose to travel on a cruise last year there are still many people who do not believe that cruising is for them. Until now cruising had not really appealed to me as cruises usually stop at ports for a very short time and I felt that there was no time to … Continue reading »

This easy mango wine mojito recipe is the perfect summer cocktail. It's tropical flavor is far from the usual wine cocktails. Made with Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc this take on the traditional mojito is lighter and more refreshing and in my opinion tastes better than a mango mojito made with rum!

One of the most exciting and fun things we have done while traveling! #TravelDeep   #DominicanRepublic   #GoDomRep  #DiscoverPuertoPlata
The Charcos de Damajagua (the Damajagua waterfalls) are a series of 27 small cascades that fall into 27 small pools. Do not expect waterfalls with huge drops. However expect to have an amazing time in one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever been to. You can choose to do 7, 12, 19 or 27 … Continue reading »

Thinking of visiting Puerto Plata? Here's what you can't miss! #GoDomRep   #TravelDeep
The Dominican Republic has been on my bucket list for a while now. My mom, who traveled a lot, has always told me that the Dominican Republic has some of the best beaches she’s ever seen but the real reason why I have always wanted to visit is because I know quite a few Dominicans … Continue reading »

I left a dress to be cleaned as I had to take it on a trip. They offered to have it on Monday after 5pm and when I went there to pick it up they said they did not have it. I told them I had asked if they could have it for that specific date as I was getting on a plane early next day and taking the dress with me on the trip and they assured me they could have ti by then. I told the sales lady that I could not come back tomorrow and I needed the dress, she just looked at me and said "Sorry!". She didn't even try to call anyone or try to resolve the issue in any way. Worst customer service ever. Now that I look at the reviews both here and in Yelp all are bad reviews of similar instances of bad customer service. Never going back!
