TripAdvisor Names Best Airlines
Reviews matter on TripAdvisor and they used those reviews to formulate their first ever Travelers’ Choice awards for airlines. Emirates Airlines took first place in the top ten airlines in the world category with Singapore Airlines and Azul coming in second and third.

Are You Prepared for Unexpected Emergencies?

Emergency expenses can throw a monkey wrench into your day especially if you don’t have any savings or even a low or no-interest credit card to cover it. This is the case for one in five Americans who, according to a new study, don’t have any savings on hand to cover an emergency expense, whether that’s a car problem, a medical issue or a home repair. When asked if they had at least $500 in the bank to cover unexpected expenses, 31% said no.

MasterCard has inked a deal to acquire NuData Security, a global technology company. NuData specializes in assisting companies and business with fighting both online and mobile fraud by using biometric and session-based technology. For MasterCard this new acquisition gives them more ways to protect their customer data and increase the security of the Internet of Things system from cyber crime.

FIS and Minor League Baseball Are Playing Ball

FIS, a financial services technology, and Minor League Baseball league have inked a deal that would give fans more ways to pay for everything from hot dogs, burgers, beer, and soda, to merchandise, game day experiences and pretty much everything else at the game not only with cash, credit and debit cards, but with mobile and contactless payments too.
