Ginnel Foto Fest is an independent photography festival in the East of England. I have been shortlisted for their annual award with European Ferries, photographs of European passenger ferries arriving at Britain’s coastline. Physically the images depict historical links connecting the UK to its current continent. Metaphorically the photographs consider horizons and the UK's divisive cultural attitude towards them. The festival will take place on the 26th and 27th of May before moving into a gallery for a month.

The exhibition will be open on the 26 and 27 May, 12:00 - 22:00.

The launch will be happening beyond geographical boundaries, simultaneously in 4 different cities! – London (Leyden Gallery), Belgrade (Kvaka 22), Sofia (Cush.BAR) and will include a one off photograph I made depicting rush hour at The Level in Brighton.

The exhibition will be open on 12 May, 12:00 - 23:00.

Macmillan Cancer Support commissioned me to photograph their Recovery Centre at the London Marathon. The runners were greeted by cheerleaders and offered a well deserved massage on finishing the race.

Better late than never! A hectic start to the year has postponed my annual photographic diary edit but finally here is 2017. It was prompted by an Instagram takeover for Revolv and I figured it would be a good place to show my Diary images because of the journalistic nature of the platform.

Revolv is a platform and a collective founded in January 2017 by the photographers Krasimira Butseva and Lina Ivanova. The non-profit company organises free events, workshops and exhibitions in both England and Bulgaria, as well as creates and advertises opportunities for emerging artists and I will exhibiting with them at the end of June.

I am always hesitant in embracing another social media outlet. Productivity can take a steep nose dive if use is left unregulated. However everyone and their uncle seems to be using Instagram now so hopefully this takeover will promote my status from newbie.

Artwaves Festival at Bridlington Spa, East Riding of Yorkshire brings together a diverse range of Traditional, Digital, Contemporary and Urban art through a vibrant programme of activities, workshops, exhibitions. I was commissioned by the festival to produce a short film exploring Kilnsea and Spurn Point at the mouth of the Humber.

On my first visit to Spurn Point in July 2017 I was immediately struck by the area’s beauty, history, topography and strange geography. I instantly wanted to embrace and share the experience somehow so creating a film that was less documentary and more emotive exploration seemed like the most opportune way. The project evolved throughout subsequent visits and I began to fixate on the crumbling military fortifications and rapidly eroding coastline.

Longshore Drift is a cyclical, looping film that follows a lone figure throughout the course of a day. The remnants of a war that ended 100 years ago form the backdrop to this contemplative piece that hints at current global affairs and seeks to question the notion of remembrance.

The exhibition will be open from 12 May - 13 May 10.30-16.30.
