Thanks for this. I really appreciate it.

After following your instructions (Paul Stickland posted the link to this page on a Zazzle forum) I've managed to update a blog that allows Zazzle folks' posts as Rich Pins. It's now been verified by Pinterest. The blog is at http://casefashion.blogspot.com/ and includes the Pin it button code above.

I changed
<meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' property='og:description'/>
to
<meta expr:content='data:post.title' property='og:description'/>

because (a) the pinned description was the blog metadescription (and doesnt change from post to post) and (b) I could'nt find a  variable with the post content to use instead.

One gotcha that folks should also be aware of is blogger's domain localisation. For me the blog normally resolves as http://casefashion.blogspot.fi/ It doesn't affect the code above but I found that I needed to use blogspot.com in the url submitted to the pinterest validator and to change pin urls to reflect .com in the url and not .fi  So if folks' blogger url is something other than  .com and the validation seems to go into an endless loop then changing it to .com might do the trick; it did for me.

First 'rich' tweet. For the last few years I've been using twitter to spread the news about new designs and products from Zazzle. I can now send 'rich' tweets from @Zazzleforgifts to folks. It involves some work in adding meta tags to product page html so that twitter can format the content and send as a 'twitter card'. Neat that it can embed the image in the tweet itself and show relevant content before a reader clicks through to the tweeted page.
