This was very nicely done. It pleases me too that you honored Matthew at the opening of the video.

I still contend that the rider  you mention with the window shorts was not the most egregious example on the ride. Either way, it remains a mental image that can not be unseen.

You had my number on the miles post Firestone. Boy did I go dead and who would have thought that a climb up Foxen Canyon would help?

A lot of great memories on this ride, thanks for riding with me.

Really enjoyed your company Rob!  Funny how we seemed to have a conservation of energy thing going on - when I was feeling tired, you had lots of energy and vice-versa.  Climbing (nearly) always wakes my legs up - I'll never understand how that works!

Story
Introduction
My internet presence largely revolves around cycling. I've bicycled all my life, but in the last six years or so I've become more involved in riding brevets, a style of ride that involves riding within a time limit and checking in or acquiring proof of passage at specific locations on the route. Brevets are largely qualifiers for long distance events such as Paris-Brest-Paris. My primary brevet club is the San Francisco Randonneurs and my primary recreational cycling club is the Grizzly Peak Cyclists (located in Berkeley).
