Any 4TB HDD recommendations ? I will need to extend storage on my old desktop and with all these vendors on the market it's going to take me at least 1 month to find out what is out there. So instead I chose this forum to ask and I hope for the best. Desktop is not going to be gaming machine, instead it will store tons of picture/video data so it should be something at least 7200rpm and this machine will run Linux.

thank you in advance !

Gentlemen, thank you very much for your valuable opinions about the harddrives on the market. I will try to do a homework now and pick on of the best runners on the road. I really appreciate all responses here but again: next time please save the words which could insult others, this is not the place for such an expressions. Facebook is full of them and this was the reason why I abandoned it ...
Thank you  !

... wow .. I would never expect such a story from #KingDiamond  . Looks like being close to death will open eyes to people.
We let the digital recorder run for more than an hour and assembled an oral history from King’s narrative.

Brendan Gregg, Software Engineer at Netflix, shared Linux performance observability tools at last year's LinuxCon North America. Check out his follow-up notes, diagrams, and slides here:

wow ... I didn't expect that at all.

My thoughts on Atlassian's acquisition of Jitsi - where it fits in the WebRTC ecosystem: http://bit.ly/1OF2HNX
Blue Jimp (and Jisti) got acquired by Atlassian for their HipChat service. This was all about WebRTC multiparty video calling capabilities.

One of the topics discussed in my previous job: #Agile  methodology. I never found it useful in the process of building production ready product. Always brought my adrenaline too high when product management came back with something ... Anyway, long story short: It kills productivity of the engineering, it kills your morale and more. Read and make a judgment yourself.
Before I get into why this "Agile" stuff is horrible, let's describe where Agile/Scrum can work. It can work for a time-sensitive and critical project of sho...

Troubleshooting  -

Has anybody experienced #raspberry  freezing ? I've upgraded #raspbian  yesterday and let #pi  running without any interaction. The only connection which was 'established' was continuous ping from my desktop box over ethernet interface. After a while (while defined as 15-20mins) I started receiving ICMP unreachable messages from #pi  . Nothing's running on that thing except kernel and sshd. Any suggestions what to check ? This is  #raspberrypi  first generation.

thanks for any hints ..

We usually go to Olive Garden when we are on the road, this time it was a mistake. I took my parents and my kids there and day after the visit we realized it was a mistake. When we opened the door, everything was "Olive Garden standard", waitress was nice, others too however food was not well prepared. My son ordered Sprite, he received 90% water and rest something close to sprite. Once we asked for new one, waitress said that they don't have it so he ordered something else. We've got stomach problems day after the visit so all leftovers ended up in the trash sadly. Food was prepared with too much oil ... Anyway, overall impression was good but definitely not food.

Staff are very helpful, prices are absolutely perfect comparing to monsters like Petco or Petsmart. Got my WAHL blades and powder for the price which would be probably 10-15x higher in above mentioned stores. Worth to travel there if you need supplies for your little ones.

We've been patients of this doctor already for 5 years and I can't complain so far. He's very friendly, my kids like him. However this is probably not best review since we've never been in need of some "special" care. Regular physicals + occasional paper work required - that's basically all we needed so far. Overall we can't complain ... There are doctors and doctors.

We went to see doctor Bowser to have immigration exam. Staff at the office were nice, work was done with some delays since we didn't have everything what we were expected to have. For immigration exams this office doesn't accept any insurance because of the previous issues with claims. Overall : nice people.

We spent there one night only and I'd say "it's ok" hotel. Receptionist was nice, former IT person from HP Market pavilion, gave us an advice about town. Room was clean, no smoke smell however we found stain on the wall :-). Bathroom was clean, bit outdated and I felt claustrophobic while doing my business there. At the time when we left, drain got clogged - we used shower 3x but we didn't tell them anything. Breakfast was literally poor. Room where they're serving breakfast was dirty, with glass door where you could see construction work going on. Anyway, night was silent, no jumping, no riving engines or drugged teenagers around. Overall impression: you'll get what you paid for .. we paid $85/night for 2 adults and 1 room.

I stayed at this apartment complex for 3 years. 3rd year was horrible, office staff approved people with minimal or even no money so quality of the environment became really poor. Once we left seems there was a lot of complains about services since new staff were hired and also complex got new look. Office manager I talked with last time had south accent and she's was joking in every word while talking to me. Friend of mine moved to this complex, got renovated apartment and he seems to be happy. This apartment complex is benefiting from the area where everything's in walking distance. Doctors, dentist, CVS, grocery, schools ... you can walk everywhere. Schools are great.

Beautiful place to go to ... really worth to go there. We planned to spend max 2 hours there but we ended up with full day. Restaurant in the garden offers decent food for nice prices. We paid cca $55 for lunch (2 adults + 2 kids - teens), waitress was really nice. If you like romance and dreaming go there, that's the place you're looking for.
