Spent Pearl Harbor Day doing my World War II presentations for kids at Jimmy Carter National Historic Site in Plains, GA! What a fascinating town. My only disappointment was not seeing the President or "Miss Rosalynn" out and about. :-)
From my friend and fellow historian Julie Flavell (think of her as a reverse me, since she's an American who lives in my hometown of Dundee), this is a very cool way to spend a pleasant hour or two in London.
In case you missed this(!), I just learned that Don't Know Where, Don't Know When got an Honorable Mention in the Middle-Grade/Young Adult books category of the 19th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards. Yippee!
Georgia Librarians: My kind of people. What an amazing reception I got from them for my lunch speech, and what an honor it was to be asked to give it. It's also beyond exciting to realize how the buzz is growing about the Snipesville Chronicles.
Be in my next book! Kickstarter happening now, and we are nearly 80% toward our initial goal in the first 72 hours! Watch the video, and check out the cool rewards (but do hurry, because some are in very limited quantities!)
