The ancient art of stone carving is explained in this really interesting post... The Stone Sculpting Process

Since prehistoric times, artists have sought to set free the images that they see trapped within stone. The methods they use have evolved over the centuries but, the basic process stays the same – the artist must remove the unnecessary material. It is a process of elimination.

Hello art friends!

I thought some of you might enjoy reading this inspirational and helpful guest post, Top 5 Tips for Daily Painters

“Daily painting is the practice wherein an artist produces a piece of art every day, or every weekday, or almost every weekday – or just periodically. As that rambling sentence shows, there are no steadfast rules. Heck, a daily painter does not even have to be a painter, just an artist dedicated to their art.” ...click the link to read more!

A message from Adam Leipzig. Host of my upcoming social media seminar...I hope you consider joining us! ~Lori

Hello Friends,
I hope you & yours have a great Mother's Day tomorrow.

I'm interrupting your weekend to make sure you know that our Social Media seminar registration closes Monday night - the seminar takes place Tuesday, May 15, at 10 am PT/1 pm ET. Follow the link to sign up

You don't want to miss this one. Maybe your Mom would like to too!

Specially designed for creatives & entrepreneurs who feel overwhelmed by social media – and also excited by its potential to reach audiences & expand your personal brand – this special event telephone seminar will give you crucial, up-to-date information you can use immediately. It'll help you decide what to do - and maybe more importantly, what not to do and what isn't worth your time.

I'll be interviewing guest expert Lori McNee, a celebrated professional artist who specializes in still life and landscape oil paintings AND is one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women on Twitter and was named a TwitterPowerhouse. Lori has figured out how to focus on her artistic passion and use social media as a tool to further her creative work, and build her revenues. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with our community.

As always, you'll get an MP3 of the entire seminar the next day (in case you miss any of it, and just to have for your permanent reference), plus I'll send you a list of all the websites we talk about.

As a live participant, you can email or tweet questions during the seminar! (Details when you sign up.)

The directly link is http://www.adamleipzig.com/seminars/ Registration closes Monday night.

To your continued success,

Adam

PS: No Risk Guarantee - As always, if you don't feel completely satisfied - and waaaaay smarter about how to use Facebook, Twitter, blogging, YouTube and all the rest - just send me an email and you'll get a full refund. Period.
