Really well written review and opinion piece by Joe Scott. Joe is a friend and owner of Geeksboro Coffee here in Greensboro. Geeksboro is the place where my boys and I go to watch Game of Thrones and independent films in the downstairs theater. Joe is incredibly smart when it comes to movies and reviews.

I haven't seen the movie. However, I'm pretty sure I will agree with Joe's review. Batman does and would never use a gun. Period. The only thing I can think of is the Snyder DC movies take place on one of the many infinite Earths and not the DC Universe many of us know and love. For example, we have the wonderfully written and produced Flash television series versus an entirely different actor portraying the speedster in Batman vs Superman.

by Joe Scott During press interviews for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the film’s director Zack Snyder has stated that he hopes to make a film based on the Ayn Rand novel The Fountainhead. A…

Joel Schumacher was attached to make Batman Triumphant after Batman & Robin. What went wrong? And what would the movie have been like?

I watched the film Me and Earl and the Dying Girl tonight. Amazing piece of work directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon. Why wasn't this film recognized by the Academy Awards? It's just as good, if not better, as the other films nominated. The scene in the movie where Rachel's film is being watched is a powerful piece of cinema. I dare you not to cry. Since I didn't see it last year, I actually want to put the movie into my top 10 list of films for 2015 now.

Some stills taken on the set of the UNCSA film Charlie, directed by Katia Czartorysky, from this past Sunday. I don't even recognize myself. My role is a character named Murray, a 70's hippie psychologist, who may or may not be handing out good advice to his young patient. Charlie will be released in May.

Mr. Mom. Actor. WWE, Disney and Conan O'Brien fan. I pay bills, clean the house and take care of two boys.
Introduction

Chris, a simple stay-at-home dad (Mr. Mom), is married to a wonderful woman named Carolyn. He grew up in Wilmington, NC, attended E.A. Laney High School and went to East Carolina University where he earned degrees in Communications/Broadcasting and English in 1990. While at ECU, Chris met his wife and eventually moved to Greensboro, NC where he became a Technical Writer for several companies. Chris left the workforce as a technical writer in 2008 to stay home and take care of two fantastic boys, some goldfish, two cats and a cool dog named Ruby. In addition to his household chores, he's also an attentive husband (so says the wife), cool dad and a big kid. Chris is an avid comic book nerd, a big LOST fan and he loves writing short film scripts.

While being a Mr. Mom, Chris discovered he really enjoyed being an extra on both movies and television series when he got a job as background talent on Iron Man 3 and earned a recurring role as a member of Monroe's militia on NBC's Revolution. Basically, he came out of the "actor's closet". In addition to Iron Man 3 and Revolution, Chris has worked on a number of North Carolina productions such as We're the Millers, Cinemax's Banshee, Fox television's Sleepy Hollow and CBS' Under the Dome. Now Chris is taking his love of working on film and television one step further and is hard at work on becoming a working actor by consistently being busy with auditions and attending acting classes in order to improve his craft.

Planet is a unique store located on North Front Street in downtown Wilmington, NC. This location used to be drug store long time ago and still has the original wooden floors. You can find all sorts of neat items here such as vintage suitcases, clothes, tin signs and other knick knacks that will remind you of your trip to Wilmington. Another plus, beside the friendly staff, is the fact that they allow you to bring you dog inside with you!
