Hi all!
I have a Galaxy S5, Verizon, stock phone. I need to do a hard reset on it. I have made a folder on my home screen with all of my family contacts. It took quite a while to make, and I can't figure out how to save it to my MicroSD card. ESFile Explorer can't even find it.
Does any body have any idea how to achieve this???
Thanks in advance

Hi all!
I'm trying to build a rather large light(20 feet). WS2812B's are the only thing I have experience with, and we all know how hard it is to work with the 5 volts. I ran across these and wondered if anyone had used them before?

The bad part is that you can only cut them every third pixel, but they're 24 volts, which will definitely solve the problem. Does anyone know of another solution???

Thanks guys

Hi all!
I'm lost.
I'm trying to make a simple single button that if you press it once, it goes into state 1. Double press it within 2 seconds, it goes in to state 2. Longer than 2 seconds it goes back to state 0.
I can't seem to get it from state 1 to state 0 after the 2 second delay.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, will the millis() count ever get so high that it overflows the Arduino and resets it?
Thanks guys

Hi all!!!

I'm working on a project with Fire2012. I have 2 pots, 1 controls the brightness, which works fine. The other 1 I would like to use to control the NUM_LEDS, to make it shorter or taller.
The problem I'm running in to is is in the first part of the Fire2012() function:
static byte heat[NUM _ LEDS];

In my case it's:
static byte heat[siveVal];

"sizeVal" being the value being read from the pot.

The compiler complaint is:
"storage size 'heat' isn't constant"

I've tried several different ways to make it work, with no joy. Is there another way to declare the "heat" variable, or what should I do???

Thank you for your help!!!

Arduino Nano with WS2812B's

Happy New Year everyone!

Will FastLED work with the strip hooked up straight to a Wemos D1 mini?
I have a short strip hooked up to the 5 volt pin and the ground on the Wemos, and data off pin D1. It does nothing.
Also, do you declare the pin "D1" or "d1" or just pin 1?

Thanks for the help

Hey guys!
I'm really stuck on this one.
Line 51 outputs "12" and that's it, when it should be like "127". The backward() function does nothing. If I change the Serial.print to NUM_LEDS, it says 112 and only goes thru the loop once. Next time it loops thru it says 12.

Thanks for your help!

I have an application where I am needing 5 inputs for water and temperature sensors, and have it send an email if a condition is met. I see 7 GPIO pins on the ESP8266 schematic, but don't find documentation stating the number of IO's.
Is the ESP8266 a good fit for my application?
I don't have any experience with them.
Thank you for the help.

Hi. I'm a noob and i'm quite stuck.
I'm building a circuit with a pir sensor under my bed. You get out of bed, trip the sensor, and it turns in a trail of RGB LED's to the toilet. I am putting a 5 minute delay before they're turned off. it also has a push button to turn them off earlier. My problem lies in the timer function not working.

Any help would be appreciated.
