Atelier Amaro is a very small restaurant with only a few tables. Usually one must reserve months ahead but you can get lucky if you're flexible on time. They offer uniquely prepared dishes of true Michelin-star quality! Be prepared for very original dishes served in a way you are not used to! It is for true food-lovers but if you're looking to stuff yourself this is not the place - every dish is small and delicate. The menu changes every couple of days depending on the availability of fresh produce.

We had the full monty...tasting menu with paired spirits. The dishes and interludes were incredibly inventive, aromatic, impactful and memorable. Pairing with spirits rather than wine was an inspired choice. This place was heading for 5 stars right up until the bill arrived. The total price was comparable with 2 Michelin star dinners I've had in London. Given this is in Warsaw (and 1 michelin star), I would expect it to be better value for money than London, not worse. That said, it was a most memorable dining experience.

Atelier Amaro is the only place where I've seen a really original approach to Polish cuisine. The fixed menu contains variations of old traditional meals, in new shapes and forms. Some are exciting, other just quirky and surprise, but don't charm. The presentation is great and in my opinion is the highlight of this restaurant. For a one-star Michelin star restaurant, their prices are reasonable, but for Polish standards they are high. I went to Amaro's for lunch on a weekday, when it's not crowded at all and getting a table was easy. The whole meal (5 courses) lasted about one hour.

Outstanding food, great combination with vodka tasting menu. I'd love to come back but I lost my respect to Mr. Amaro after his appearance on low grade TV shows, sorry.

We had a very good ~7 course menu, which was just fine, the wine was nice, but yes, it was "just fine" and nothing more. If I got to a restaurant like this (>100€) i gotta compare it to others i've been into and i gotta say among my limited experience in gourmet places (probably around 10) this one was definately in the lower end. It was interesting, but not really that yummy :(
