My friend Loreen Leedy has created the perfect picture book to read before Thanksgiving. Based around the well-known story of "Jack and the Beanstalk," in this story, the Giant doesn't want to eat Jack, but eat with Jack. And he doesn't want to eat just anything, he wants a healthy meal.

There's no snow here in central Florida, but that doesn't mean I can't draw a flurry of line symmetry designs, right? Snowy Symmetry has designs for Winter and Christmas such as a penguin juggling snowballs, silly snowflake...

I make art quilts and have written and illustrated over 40 children's picture books with math, science, language arts, and other curriculum content.
