Just finished performing a great wedding ceremony for a wonderful cute couple. They are both over 80 years old. They are both from Germany. Came to the U.S. 58 years ago and met 12 years ago.

Guenter Lahr's son was the physical therapist for Anneliese Hassler. His son contacted Guenter and said I have the perfect woman for you. The result was that they fell in love and Guenter proposed to her at the Social Security office and later a second proposal on his hands and knees at her home. They got married in a church 12 years ago but lost their marriage papers.

So they contacted me and wanted to get formally married. I was happy to do it on ValentinesDay today. They are really in love and are one of the nicest couples I've performed a ceremony on! Love knows of no bounds including age! They enjoy each other including playing cards, traveling throughout the U.S. and the world including Europe.

They also enjoy fine dining and tonight they will go to an Italian restaurant in Northern Macomb County. They are both long term residents of Warren. I wished them a long term wedding and made them promise to come back to see me at age 100!
