Analyze the Earth with Google Earth Engine

Google Earth Engine is a planetary-scale geospatial analysis platform that brings together petabytes of satellite multispectral imagery, making it available online so that scientists and independent researchers can learn more about the Earth and its environment.  

In the video below, Developer Advocate +Dave Thau describes Google Earth Engine, presents some examples of how it's being used, and introduces the tools you can use to perform your own geospatial analyses on decades of available satellite data.

Any of my San Franciscan friends know a place where I can swap out my film backs? I'm shooting 8x10 down on Valencia and need a hanging bag or a blacked out room... Could even be a closet or bathroom... Just need the dark.
