The wait was longer than I expected. Many people who sat down after us received their food before us. The portions were large and can easily feed 2. The kids got a 14" Meatzza Pizza and enjoyed it, they even took 2 slices home which was surprising since they love to eat. If it hadn't been for the long wait I would give this place a 5 star.

Great food not so great service.
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Sheri, I'm sorry about the service part of your experience as that my guests experience should always include great customer service. Can you provide the date/time and possibly a description of your server and problem you experienced so I can follow up with the restaurant and correct the situation moving forward?

Food is passable. If you have spent anytime in NY, LA or Chicago you'll probably be disappointed. Try Eastside.

Delicious food. The stuffed pizza is awesome. They also have gluten free pizza and a gluten free chocolate cake - it's nice to have a local alternative to Domino's for GF pizza. Not 5 stars because they don't deliver, although they do have online ordering for pickup.

Came in and ordered a glass of water with lemon. Kendra dropped off the water without lemons and went to eat her food at the bar . I gave her some time and she came back to get our order, we ordered and I asked for lemons again. She went back to eating and didn't even get lemons . I tried waving her down but she was too into eating. She checked other tables and didn't visit ours before going back again to her food . I went up to her and asked for lemons and finally got them . I thought that was the end of it . I ordered a veggie Stromboli that looked delicious but when it came out it had pepperoni in it. She proceeded to place the blame somewhere else (which I didn't care) . But we were ready to leave .

The best Baked Ziti in Hampton Roads. Their portion size is enough for three meals for me. Gooey, cheesy, saucy goodness. The service is always with a smile, even when they're slammed. We've become regular customers over the last few months.

Ordered 2 Spaghetti's Dinners with caesar salads. I was told it would be more than enough food to feed four people. The bill was over 30 dollars. My family and I were completely disappointed with the entire experience. There was barely enough spaghetti sauce for 2 people - It was two containers full of overcooked angel hair pasta. We had to throw the caesar salads away because the dressing had entirely too many anchovies blended in it and the 3 of us agreed it tasted like rotten fish from under a dock. (We all love caesar salads with fresh anchovies when done correctly) I felt completely ripped off and will never order from there again. Also, we did not see 1 person who appeared to be over the age of 22 running the place. It looked like a high school teen living cooking class behind the counter. I wish them the best of luck but avoid this place if you want good value.
