I first went to Jim's on the advice of pretty much every local that I asked about cheesesteak. My next stop was Pat's, I skipped Geno's altogether because of poor reviews and local advice. I can honestly say Jim's was better, Pat's bread was way too thick and the meat was bland, I threw half of it away. Either way, they're all over priced, $10 for a single sandwich is ridiculous. Pass on these places in the future and just get one from a food truck, they're way cheaper, the same size, and the taste isn't different enough to justify the high cost and long waits of the more popular places.

If you want an authentic south philly cheesesteak Pat's is the place to go. I get the provolone instead instead of the cheese wiz. Try the hot peppers they will definitely put hear on your chest lol. The best is going their after an Eagle's game.

after looking at reviews decided to drive to pats from jersey. not only are they rude but the cheesesteak had no flavor. your probably better off just buying a cheesesteak from your local pizza place. as i walked away completely disappointed i found j&j south philly pizza and bought a cheesesteak to compare not only was it $4 cheaper it was way better

This place is horrible. 1st of all the customer service was awful, they rush u like they don't even wanna waste 1 min with each customer And won't even greet you or thank you. 2.nd the food wasn't even good this people just dump a pre made steak into this rubbish bread and handle it to u like ur some kinda prisioner. Not to mention they won't even ask u if u want anytbig else. first time eating Philly steak in Philly I was highly dissapointed. Never will I ever come back to this place... Don't even know why thy give them so many starS. 3rd the price.. omg 10 dollars for that crappy steak Gtfo... Abovid this place.

This place is totally overrated. Their bread wasn't fresh. The staff on the register was so rude. When i ordered, he was rushing me. I said can i have a cheese steak with onion and... I was going to say what kind of cheese i want to have but he did not even let me finish my order. He was calling the next customer. Then i said provolone chese please. He said I need more experience to order cheese steak. Also, they are really over priced place. $10 for a cheese steak, and $5 French fries. WTF? It was my first and last time.

Usually go their after an Eagle's game but went there yesterday to celebrate after the phillies won a game. I don't like cheese wiz so I get provolone on my steaks and melted american cheese on my fries.
