The self-proclaimed "inventor of cheesesteak" offers classic versions of Philly's favorite sandwich.- Google
"Super touristy cheese steak joint, but the food itself was good."

This place is horrible. 1st of all the customer service was awful, they rush u like they don't even wanna waste 1 min with each customer And won't even greet you or thank you. 2.nd the food wasn't even good this people just dump a pre made steak into this rubbish bread and handle it to u like ur some kinda prisioner. Not to mention they won't even ask u if u want anytbig else. first time eating Philly steak in Philly I was highly dissapointed. Never will I ever come back to this place... Don't even know why thy give them so many starS. 3rd the price.. omg 10 dollars for that crappy steak Gtfo... Abovid this place.

I honestly disliked it a lot. The steak was really chewy, taste was bland, the bread isn't even a complete hero, they rush you when ordering, even though it wasn't busy at all. Finally, overpriced; $10 for a chewy steak hero, with cheese, onions, and peppers. I don't understand what the hype is.

I ate at Pat's some time ago with some friends. It was a nice warm day so the outside seating and atmosphere was good. The philly sandwich was good but not really great. I'm not a fan of Cheeze wiz, even though that seems to be a popular component of these sandwiches. Overall it was a good lunch and I'd probably go there again if friends wanted to go, but if the choice is mine, I'd likely find something else.

Complete rudeness of staff . I ordered and said what I wanted correctly , the person working the window , has the nerve to say "believe it or not we know what we're doing here " I took this to offense as he made me feel like I ordered incorrectly , come to find out when I got home . The idiot completely messed my order up, I would never recommend this place ever again , this is my 4th time coming to pats visiting from California , and all I get is a rude philly know it all that I would love to punch in the face .. Pure jerkoff, and worst of all he completely botched my order up, making me think I ordered incorrectly ... Never again .. JIMS off south street is where I'll Be , they don't make the customer feel like an idiot, even when the customer orders correctly . And above all mess up the whole order to begin with .. I hate pats with a passion bc of this experience ..

I drove to Philly to pick a car up I bought. All the way from Flint Michigan, and just had to have it!!! It was everything I expected, and more! I had a "Wid-out, Wid Wiz"

I had went to pats for the first time years ago cause I was sick of steak-umms "philly"cheese steaks sold in NY.. the taste 10x better. And as far as the staff being rude. They have people expecting a 5 star dining experience @ a outdoor eatery, one guy even asked for a knife and fork. Like the guy behind the counter answered back "this is south philly u ask in to much"

after looking at reviews decided to drive to pats from jersey. not only are they rude but the cheesesteak had no flavor. your probably better off just buying a cheesesteak from your local pizza place. as i walked away completely disappointed i found j&j south philly pizza and bought a cheesesteak to compare not only was it $4 cheaper it was way better
