Sometimes the random things my phone decides to do to spice up my photos are annoying, but I like this :) My awesome kiddos on Spring Break.

Love this idea.

+Leanna Alldonemonkey - made me think of you and your random acts of kindness series.
Create a new tradition with the Kindness Elves, an alternative to the Elf on the Shelf, and focus on positive, character-building activities for kids.

Any other #Montessori  teachers up for discussing what materials are most important in a 3-6 classroom?

"Forced sharing comes from a sense of obligation, but genuine sharing is giving from the heart, and the more children engage in this type of giving, the more they will the feel the joy that comes with it and wish for more. I certainly do not want to raise a child who feels obligated to give of herself."

Number 78 on the list of things I'll miss about Guam: Calamansi. Juicing some right now and they smell soooo good!

Crossing my fingers that we'll live someplace where I can find, and grow, a tree next.
Refreshing Kalamansi Lime – Aid (Calamondin Orange) beverage recipe.

This is a great vegan restaurant, tucked away in a rather odd location. I actually missed it the first time I was in the shopping center, because it's located between a now defunct Staples and a dollar store. Nothing on the marquee hints at the fact that it's a restaurant, but it definitely is and I'm glad to have finally figured that out. The food is excellent, and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. I went for their Sunday brunch and enjoyed the brunch special as well as two plate-sized pancakes. The prices were very good, and the food even better. As a long-time vegan, I've had many tofu scrambles, and the one on Everlasting Life's brunch plate had a unique flavor as compared to others - it was delicious. My only complaint is that they don't serve coffee, but that's a very minor issue that couldn't possibly keep me away - I can always stop for coffee on the way. Their desserts and lunch offerings looked at least as good as the brunch, so I know I'll be back.
