We were thrilled when the folks at PRI's The World contacted us about their ‪#‎TeachHer‬; Across Women's Lives project ("about women learning, teaching, changing the world") and said they wanted to include the voices and perspectives of trans women in the series. They've just published this first-person essay by Deja Alvarez of Mazzoni's Trans* Wellness Project and Sisterly LOVE, who reflects on her work sharing information and resources with trans women all around Philadelphia. Check it out!
