Hello, Internet!

Another week, another sneak peek at the #accessibility screencasts I'm working on, this time focusing on the humble `label` element, and it's intimate relationship with `input`.

I got more or less absolutely nothing done regarding https://w15y.com/ where these videos and articles will eventually live, but I'm back to work next week, which means I should have a bit more computer time to play around with. I expect to have a static site up within a week or two, with more interesting bits of interactivity later (perhaps much later). Regardless, I'll be posting at least one screencast a week for the foreseeable future. There's a lot of ground to cover.

If you're interested in helping out, either by writing a short (500 word) article on a topic near and dear to your heart, or by recording a short (3-5 minute) screencast, drop me a line here, or via email: mike@w15y.com.

I'd also, of course, be thrilled to see suggestions for future topics as well as questions that you'd like to see answered.

Thanks, and please do reshare these posts if you find them useful. Let's get the word out together!

+Mike West

Hello, I didn't know how to contact you. Is there any update coming or is this idea dead (months without any update...)?

Here's a sneak peek at the sort of thing that's going on at Web Accessibility... The initial goal is simple: short (<5 minute) screencasts, accompanied by short (<500 words), each focused on a very actionable principle of #accessibility on the web. I'm hoping they're as useful in practice as they are in my head. :)

Four screencasts are finished, and though I've got a fairly long list of items to come, I'm very interested in your input. What questions do you have about accessibility on the web? What would you like to know more about?

In any event, follow this G+ page ( +Web Accessibility ) for updates. It won't be long now...

Thanks,
+Mike West

What about target="_blank" I personally think it's the user's decision to make, not the site's.
