Menu
We are an authentic Churrascaria (Brazilian Steakhouse) from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil which features superior service, unrivaled cuisine and a unique dining experience.

You will be pampered by our authentic Gaucho chefs who come to your tableside to carve a variety of succulent meats right off their skewers.  Our featured meats have been slow-roasted over an open flame and lightly seasoned to preserve the unique taste of each tender cut.

Adding to our unique dining experience, you will be treated to a sumptuous, gourmet salad and vegetable bar featuring over 30 items including imported cheeses, cured meats, fresh vegetables and more.  We complement your meal with traditional Brazilian side dishes such as caramelized bananas, crispy polenta, seasoned mashed potatoes and our world-famous cheese bread (pao de queijo).

No meal is complete without trying a refreshing caipirinha, something from our award-winning wine list or one of our decadent desserts.

Handling a large party of 50-70 people is not easy but Fogo De Chao San Antonio manager Alex and his staff were awesome! The food was great and the staff handled our crowd with aplomb! Thank you for a great evening.

While on vacation in San Antonio tried it- enjoy it all very nice experience. The people were friendly and on point- service as a team was great! My husband and I tried to do small portions so that we could try everything, but we were unsuccessful- therefore we must return. We also received complimentary dessert👍👋

NOT worth the money! I enjoyed the complimentary rolls and my dessert. The meats were all bland. Servers, please remember if you've already visited a table once or twice with the same meat.

Heard about it from coworkers and decided to see it for myself. Took my wife on our anniversary there. It was the best. The salad itself was awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone. There's no complaints here. I give it an A+ in service anf food. Will definitely be coming here more often.

Fogo De Chao was the last of the three Brazillian Steakhouses I had left to try in San Antonio. Needless to say, expectations were fairly high. However, after my experience here, I would say it's not as good overall as the other two, Chama Gaucha and Texas de Brazil (Chama Gaucha being my favorite). I found the service to be a bit off compared to the other two. At the other two, it seems the staff goes above and beyond; but here, they just do above average. It's good service, but it didn't feel the same as the other two places. The Parmesan bread they bring to the table is worse than the other two places, almost not bearing a resemblance even. Even the fried bananas, mash potatoes, and polenta are not quite as good. The salad bar was fairly comparable, but not completely. The bacon and dressings were not quite as good. The roasted red potatoes were outstanding though. Nevertheless, the meat is where it's at. I've tried all of the 15 cuts or so, and I definitely have my favorites, but I'd like to say they're all just okay to good - not as good as the other two restaurants. The only thing that was better than the other two was the garlic ribeye. The meat that was significantly worse was the house special sirloin. Chama Gaucha and Texas de Brazil serve an absolutely delicious, juicy, tender, and crispy house sirloin. This place did not. After 4 tries... it just couldn't match. In short, if you want your Brazilian Steakhouse fix, you are better off going to one of the other two restaurants. I prefer Chama Gaucha. It's not the experience is bad or terrible. And it's not that I didn't enjoy my food or think that it's good. It's just that for the same price, there is better food to be had.

Been here once. We had reservations, so did not have to wait long.(5 minutes). Staff very friendly and prompt. The salad bar is really amazing and could also be a meal on it's own, with items such as fresh mozzarella, prosciutto de Parma, multiple green salads, fresh roasted veggies, pasta salads. The meat comes fresh from the kitchen with waitors prompt, cutting fresh pieces of meat onto your plate. The sides are delicious too.
