Menu
We are an authentic Churrascaria (Brazilian Steakhouse) from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil which features superior service, unrivaled cuisine and a unique dining experience.

You will be pampered by our authentic Gaucho chefs who come to your tableside to carve a variety of succulent meats right off their skewers.  Our featured meats have been slow-roasted over an open flame and lightly seasoned to preserve the unique taste of each tender cut.

Adding to our unique dining experience, you will be treated to a sumptuous, gourmet salad and vegetable bar featuring over 30 items including imported cheeses, cured meats, fresh vegetables and more.  We complement your meal with traditional Brazilian side dishes such as caramelized bananas, crispy polenta, seasoned mashed potatoes and our world-famous cheese bread (pao de queijo).

No meal is complete without trying a refreshing caipirinha, something from our award-winning wine list or one of our decadent desserts.

Awesome place. Food was great. Only negative comment is that the soft drinks are from a can (Coke products) awesome though. Great interaction with the wait staff. Everyone has a smile.

It's the priciest churrascaria in town ranging from $30 lunch to nearly $50 for dinner....and that's if you get nothing else but water. Quality-wise, they are about the same as Chama Gaucha. They use a slightly different rub on their lamb that includes mint. They used to have actual wheel of Parmesan and not just grana, but last time I was there, it was just grana. Quality for quality, it's no better or worse than Chama. But expect to pay much much more...and don't forget parking isn't cheap either. $8 first hour, $5 after....though there are some cheaper options nearby if you don't mind walking across the street.

We spent 2 weeks in San Antonio and ate at Fogo de Chão everyday. The managers were so attentive and kind. The wait staff was amazing and always made sure everything was to our liking. We were so impressed with their hospitality that we couldn't eat anywhere else! The food was always superb. (We don't eat pork and they made sure we had our black beans without pork). We truly loved our time in San Antonio and it was because of the people at Fogo de Chão who made it even more wonderful!

Do not go to Fogo De Chao !!! What a disappointment ! Had reservations and had to watch the host sit all the walk ups before us ??? SO BRING A WHITE FRIEND IF YOU WANT TO BE SEATED ! My Wife and daughter dressed up for a show downtown but we were passed over for walk up guest in shorts and muscle tee's ? So when I asked the Host why are we being overlooked ???? she asked "who are you ?" When we were seated they were nice enough to bring cold rolls ? and they just opened ? Then when the meat started to come around the other Tables where taken care of and my family was overlooked.... Even the Drinks sat empty next to our plate. BUT did love when the runner walked to our table with one sausage on the skewer and asked if our table of three wanted it ? No Thanks! At Chama Gaucha the Service and the Food is Wonderful !!! This place is SAD I will NEVER RETURN AND I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW. Loved when the waitress asked my wife is she wanted another drink and my wife responded "no thank you" and the waitress was looking at her and words "its Free" Yeah thanks lady we did not want anymore of your crappy Lemonade ! So the GARDEN BAR that's a Joke ! Really ! then the Rice Beans and Sweet Potato GOLDEN CORRAL SECTION KIND OF FEEL! WOW ! Then they have a bowl of hot sauce that is no more then a bottle of Cholula Hot sauce ?????? Too Funny ! At this point I asked the manager to charge me for the Salad and drinks so we could leave she was very nice and and tried to repair the derailment of our evening....but it was too late. We had Dinner last Month at Chama Gaucha the Bill was $700 and it was worth it!!! My family was treated so nice and the food was great and the Service.... even greater.

Service was great. Food was terrible. I don't mind the prices at all, if you're getting quality but this place is no better than a $7.99 all you can eat Buffett. Except they charge $50 a person. None of the meats were anything over "just okay" and the sides were just above poor buffet quality. The "market table" which is just a salad bar, has little to no options and is also buffet quality. I really wanted to like this place after all the reviews I read, but it's not even worth $8 a person so imagine the $50 they charge.

Really love the food at this Brazilian steakhouse, but I still prefer Texas de Brazil for the atmosphere, food, and soup/salad bar.
