So, I recently was introduced to Crio Bru. And I'm now addicted. To the point that I don't drink Mountain Dew anymore, because this stuff is FAR superior. And cheaper and healthier. Woo. :)

For those not in the know: Crio Bru is chocolate beans that are roasted and then course-ground, that you brew like coffee. It's amazing. I drink it black, and it tastes a lot like coffee to me, but it has subtle undertones of chocolate to it. Apparently they become a lot less subtle if you add cream and sugar, but I like it just the way it is

+Scott Manley  One of your comments brought up an interesting question for me: What's the difference between a decoupler and a stack separator? I've seen them both in the parts list, but never paid much attention to anything other than their weight.

One of them is weaker.

But +ThaFuzzwood was correct about that.

Crowd-sourcing this question, since I'm not having much luck so far.

I'm shopping for a small portable laptop with good battery life that uses a 12v power supply. Most laptops use a 19v supply for some reason, but I want to be able to use this laptop with my deep cycle battery in my car when I'm doing portable operations with my ham radio, without having to put a DC-DC switching power supply into the loop.

I'm almost to the point of shopping for replacement 12v power supplies, and seeing which laptops they're compatible with.

A few other factors: I'd like to be able to install Linux on the laptop, and I'd like it to be fairly cheap. Longer battery life is better, but since I can hook it into my car's deep cycle, it's not critical.

Well, you lost me on most of this. I understand the concept but have never seen it done. However, I know a guy who is a genius at this stuff - builds his on systems. My dad and my step brother are both uber-geeks and this sounds like popcorn for them. I'm going to forward your information to him. I'll let you know what I find out, unless you get an answer first.

It's time to take this much improved Minmus lander to Minmus and establish a tradition. #letsplay #ksp

The last two months, I've been sick more than in the past 3-4 years combined. It has not been fun. Maybe this time I'll finally beat off this virus completely.

I'm so looking forward to spring and summer and fall. LOL, I'm taking a vacation to the Gulf as soon as I know the water is warm enough.

Introduction
I am a programmer, living in Utah with my wife and our four cats. I love reading, writing, video games, ham radio, and many other nerdy things. I tend to talk about a wide assortment of topics, and love an intelligent discussion. As a hobby, I also record and upload Let's Play videos to YouTube of various games.

I maintain circles for people interested in the following topics. If you want to hear about these items, let me know, and I'll circle you there:
  • Ham Radio / Electronics
  • Weight Loss / Health
  • Writing
  • Computers / Electronics
I may sometimes post things publicly or to all circles, but I try to keep things focused, to avoid spamming.
