#seahawks  win last night vs #greenbaypackers  was as honest as #lancearmstrong 's 7 #tourdefrance  wins.
No number of wrongs ever make a right.  Yes, the #replacementrefs  blew a lot of calls last night going both ways.

It is time for honesty and honor to come back to our sporting events.  The players/athletes all know whats right and wrong maybe a little self policing by the teams would go a long way.  Coaches need to call BS even if it means reversing a call favorable to their team.  Show our kids what honesty and honor really are and what role models should be.

Well said! Goodell has the authority to still show our kids some honor and honesty. I think all honest fans of the tarnished nfl should stand together and boycott this weeks games. I'm talking the ones fortuneate enough to have season tickets and the rest of us that watch it on TV. The fans are the most important ingredience that makes up the nfl. Like I now call it "the nfl" Lower case, they don't deserve capital letters anymore.

+Team Sky Take the opportunity to help the sport. Get affidavits (names, dates, races etc) from your staff who have admitted to past involvement in dopping.  Use your position to help shine a light on the web of doping from the past.  Your action will in the long run only make the omertà stronger and the doper go deeper in to the dark. Think more along the lines of an IT security firm having an ex-hacker on their payroll it takes one to know one.  Not that the reformed hackers and dopers are now some how saints but they hold silent information we need to move forward when we abandon them to the wilderness. #cycling   #teamsky   #USADA  #UCI #WADA   #procycling

They are just scratching the surface...We need an end to the omerta of pro-cycling. I am starting to think better then the 6 month suspension of the riders who testified against Armstrong would be that they allow WADA access to urine and blood samples under conditions they would have doped themselves... This would give the testers a chances to know what the samples were biologically doped/spiked with so they could work on ways to get a positive from these known samples. Other wise we are asking the blind (WADA) to lead the Blind (us the fans) as to whether the sport we love is run clean or not. The dopers once caught need to do more then just say "i'm sorry, I was weak."

The issue is not about finding traces of the doping in blood and urine samples. In fact, some of the methods mentioned in the USADA report will probably never be detectable, as they involve re-injection of the athlete's own blood.

There is an arms race between doping labs and doping detection labs. Many of the substances which are undetectable during one sporting season become detectable a few seasons later. Current standards keep old samples around for many years and have new tests run on them as they come out. So they can detect doping from 5 years ago, and 5 years from now they'll be able to detect today's doping. These efforts should certainly be better funded and encouraged.

The real problem lies in the culture of doping and its incentives, and I think most effort should be placed in changing the culture. Athletes should be encouraged to blow the whistle and discouraged from following the "everybody does it" lure. Most importantly, sponsors should become financially responsible for their athletes' doping. The athletes who get caught nowadays don't have to give back their endorsement payments retroactively. This should be changed.
