I had the chance to speak with Raj Islam, the nephew of murdered Bangladeshi ‪LGBT‬ activist ‎Xulhaz Mannan‬, earlier this month in Norfolk, Va., during Hampton Roads Pride. Islam spoke with me six days after the ‪‎Pulse‬ nightclub massacre in Orlando, Fla. He also said presumptive Republican presidential candidate ‎Donald Trump‬ is "no better" than the so-called Islamic State and other militant groups. +Washington Blade
