Feature Update:

All HOL maps have been upgraded to the most recent version of the Google Maps API. Some of the benefits realized are a greatly improved native marker manager, which means that taxa with thousands of points will map better, the ability to remove labels and other map adornments from any map type, and street views from wherever the Google car imaged.

As well as updating the underlying map architecture, I also added label and legend toggle buttons to every map. Now there should no longer be any doubt as to what that random object is floating over Gatineau Park.

Try viewing all 21,440 specimens of Telenomus on the large map (http://hol.osu.edu/map-large.html?id=605). I did it for you below.
