We stayed here this past weekend and during our stay I had $168 disappear out of the pocket of a pair of jeans that I had thrown in the trash ini my room cause they ripped.....of course when I realized that I had left the money in the pocket of those jeans i immediatley called the hotel as we was on our way to Jacksonville for my sons wedding and of course the staff found the jeans but no money in the pocket! I was told I would get a phone call from the manager by Monday...here it is Wednsday and I have yet to hear from anyone! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone as they seem to hire THEIVES !!!!!

Hotel was great with the exception of very low water pressure in shower. Other than that it was awesome.
Response from the owner - a year ago
Donovan, Thank you for sharing your experience on Google+! We appreciate your feedback about the shower pressure. We will notify our management of your concern. Please keep us in mind for future stays in North Carolina!

Everything about our stay there was perfect. The staff was very friendly and yet professional. the room was clean, bed comfortable, view amazing, best complimentary breakfast ever from a hotel, check in and out were very easy. We will be back to this specific hotel on our next visit. Thanks Hampton, you made our anniversary weekend even more special! :)

This place was absolutely awesome. I would recommend this place again and again to anyone who plans on visiting Atlantic city beach. The staff was amazing and the service was great as well. The breakfast was on point almost everything you could ask for was there for breakfast. The pool was just as pretty as seen in the picture. My friend and I ended up at this place after our originally booked place was in the middle of no where and almost everywhere else we called was booked up for the weekend. This place is absolutely accommodating and always asking if everything was ok with our room.

Let me first begin by saying that my husband and I are faithful customers of the Hampton Inn and all other Hilton hotels. We have stayed in numerous locations up and down the east coast, from Northern NC, all the way down to Key West. They usually have a pretty pleasant staff and also the most comfortable beds ever. They are generally super clean, and also a great bargain for your buck. That being said...the hotel in question...not so great. No, let me rephrase that: TERRIBLE! My husband made reservations there as a surprise for a romantic Valentine's Day celebration....bad idea. When we initially checked in, the entire hotel was full of a drunk and obnoxious wedding party. Not only was this a bit annoying, but it also made matters worse that the front desk clerk was talking to another customer about "smoking weed" and getting "p*** tested" at work for it! Alright, here goes a quick list for you guys, because this could possibly take all day if I allowed it: ~ Room smelled awful! It was something similar to that of burnt glue. ~ There was still makeup on our pillowcases on our bed. My husband went downstairs to request more; weed-smoker was "busy" and unable to get them for us until I called her 30 minutes later and had to get a little huffy. ~ Instead of offering us a more accommodating room we were handed a bottle of Febreze for the terrible smell! ~ The visitors in the adjoining room to ours were apparently drunk and trying to get in our room through the adjoining door. After we yelled, "Can we help you?!" they ceased their actions, but we nevertheless informed the clerk that if it happened again we would call law enforcement. ~ The bed was definitely NOT Hampton quality. It was very uncomfortable and we were both awake more than 50% of the night. Needless to say, we WILL NOT EVER be staying there again. I feel that it's my duty to let everyone know about the poor condition and quality of this hotel. For $115 + applicable tax, it was definitely not worth the stay at all. So much for a romantic Valentine's Day!
