“If there is to be ‘fairness for all,’ no one should face a threat to their very existence, all should affirmatively recognize that everyone is entitled to protection for their core freedoms and interests. We cannot abandon the basic moral high ground that gives meaning to this life and has guided civilizations for centuries,” said Mormon Apostle Elder Quentin L. Cook.

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a new Relief Society general presidency and a reorganized Primary general presidency during the Saturday afternoon session of the faith’s 187th Annual General Conference April 1, 2017.

The new Relief Society Presidency includes: Jean B. Bingham (President), Sharon Eubank (First Counselor), Reyna I. Aburto (Second Counselor).
