When you're working on a site that's soon to go live, it makes sense to put up a "Coming Soon" page.

Luckily, there are some great themes and plugins to do the job.
Need to set up a launch page for a future site? We’ve got you covered.

Ditching the Plank? You can train the core without actually targeting the core
I want to reiterate, the core is still important. No part of the body should be neglected. But perhaps there is a more efficient way to train the core.

A basic yet challenging exercise, the Plank, incorporates variations that will strengthen your abs, back and hips giving you greater core stability and strength. The main reason is to save your back from injury, especially your lower back. It’s the deep core muscles that do most of the stabilizing. The plank is also great because it works the deep core muscles, as well as the larger core muscles that surround them. http://bestbodybootcamp.co.za/exercise-tipthis-is-why-we-plank/

Is there any truth to these statements. Well I'm sure their are plenty of biomechanics studies supporting the use of Planking to strength your core muscles. Interestingly, I find the plank to be very strenuous on my knees and lower back, no matter my perfected form. So I set out on a mission to find something that related to other ways of targeting the core muscles with the same or greater desired effects as the Plank has been shown to give. I found an interesting article by a biomechanics researcher...

In the below link, the Researcher is trying to catalog trunk muscle activity during strength training exercises that are not traditional simple core exercises. The author highlights the muscle activation of the trunk during simple core exercises and then compares this with the trunk muscle activity during compound lower body or full body exercises. What the author shows us is that the muscle activity in the core is comparable or exceeds that of traditional core exercises.

I highly recommend Dr. Elghoroury from Regal pediatrics. He is awesome with kids and very knowledgable. He was very helpful when my son had to get a surgery when he was just a baby. He also helped us when our daughter had jaundice as a baby.
