In my defence, it was a race against time as we'd been down to Millport
most of the weekend.... So, with the inevitable thaw in prospect and my
fingertips numbing by the second, I settled for rough draft on this
occasion! Still, with wintry forecasts for the week ahead, there will
surely be opportunities for improving on this facsimile ;-)

If you like meringues - especially big 'amandes' meringue; this patisserie is well worth a detour; and a re-visit.... ;o)

Perfect 'hangout spot' before and after your submarine-tour aboard the Visiobulle ;-)

We stayed at the 'other' La Terraza dei Pelargoni B&B, in the nearby Via Falerina. It was just fantastic - furnishings / bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and stylish. And if you like pastries for breakfast (roof terrace or inside dining mezzanine), then you won't be disappointed. Great views across the River Roia and north to the snow-capped mountians. TV (Italian channels) but no wifi.

Don't spend all your time on the beach....be sure to take a 'submarine tour' of the Billionaires Bay on this cool little craft - especially if you don't already snorkel or dive!
