Chris Riva came to Sacramento from KWGN-TV in Denver where he was the weekday main sports anchor and the host/producer of two weekly sports programs.
Prior to working in Denver, Chris was the Sports Director at WGBA-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he also produced the Mike Heideman Coaches show and various sports programs for Green Bay Packers games. During his career he has also worked for WKEF-TV/WRGT-TV in Dayton, OH and WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. Chris graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Chris is an avid snowboarder and cyclist. He is a member of Team Revolutions Cycling Team in El Dorado Hills. He has completed several triathlons, a marathon, a 24-hour mountain bike race, The Tahoe Trail 100 MTB race and carried the Olympic torch for the 2002 Salt Lake City Games.
He is also involved in various community service organizations including Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Keaton Rahpael Memorial.
