We ended up there at the end of October last year. Great spot and great beers with great locals. A regular sitting at the bar called Chris very kindly recommended other beer locations for us in NYC (thanks Chris we all loved that Old Rabbit place you suggested on Macdougal Street). Will definitely check out Rattle N'Hum again next time I'm in New York.

They have a good selection of beer and the after work crowd flocks here for happy hour. It gets pretty packed and the waitresses have been pretty rude the two times I've been here. I prefer someone else.

Delicious beer from a huge selection! Also, the food is really good. My party had the local burger and the local chicken curry.

Their craft beer selection is nothing to scoff at. While they not have a more popular beer you were looking for, the staff is knowledgeable enough to point you towards something they do have that is similar of not better. The music isn't blasting so you might be able to actually carry a conversation. The tables are long enough to fit your parties up to 8-10 comfortably.

We came here two years back and got the fish and chips with Irish style curry sauce and it was delicious. Came back in 2014: no Irish style curry sauce and the fish and chips....well the fish was very soggy and under cooked. Staff was marginally helpful or friendly. Otherwise, the ambiance and beer selection is great.

Great bar for a happy hour. They have over 40 craft beers on tap and the food is pretty decent. There is a chalkboard when you walk in that recommends craft beers based on similar commercial beers so its highly accessible to anyone!
